You entered the service - being our country's might, really were not prepared for the right to fight. You were sent overseas - a place you knoew not well. Returnees did tell you" "They call the place, Hell". "They" said you were prepared and you'll not be alone. But, "they" didn't tell you - you'd be carried home. Marker placed, where you are, name, rank and dates in stone. Now placed by your friends - but, you are quite alone. I salute you, comrade - you have withstood the test. Stand easy, veteran .....
