Sail The Sky With Me

Do you dream of flying,
Or dancing the ballet?
I dream of ever writting thoughts
For people to read some day.

Sailing the ocean in merry waves,
Singing in the stands-
Carry me away to bliss
To foreign treaded lands.

I live my nights by fantasy,
An image in my head-
To step inside my very mind,
Through chaos you'll be lead.

Some dream ever of unicorns,
Horses that can fly,
Here inside my imagination-
Their wings will carry you high.

Moving hands of standing time
Slip in pause through hourglass;
To twirl and dip and sway all day,
A mind that has no class.

Does one ever dream of times
Periods never let go?
Cease to amaze or overwhelm me,
Within my garden shall grow.

A lily blooms there every day
Alongside trusty rose,
In my mind, my fantasy
Fresh grass shall tickle toes.

A painting of the Godess Love,
Hanging on a wall of thread,
To touch her face just to see-
What makes her lips so red.

An angel guides through misery,
As you're lead through my torment
My anguish, and my pain, desire
Inspire me to be hell bent.

A book of poems on a shelf,
Designed by wonder when-
And pass through gruesome detail
Unless it's your tale to spin.

A shadow creeps upon my soul,
To frighten, chill, embrace,
And you can shed a tear for grieve,
Then touch fair beauties face.

Off to lands upon a ship
That reaches for the sky,
To whisk through clouds of cream-
And mellow out with sigh.

A fairy holds a hand to turn,
And with a knight you'll duel-
To cast a spell within a blink,
A device unmeant for cruel.

Skipping paths beside a stream
Guides me to my sleep,
Swim the river of denial-
To find it ankle deep.

Here I find I'm never alone,
Within perceptive mind
Only treated bad when wanted,
To help myself unwind.

When you dream of camelot,
Oz, or wonderland-
Do you wish to only laugh?
Or truly understand?

Do you also take the dark
And swallow shadow whole?
Whistle under terrifying?
Fill a stocking with coal?

Do you ever dream of night
To encompass from within a clock
In my symphony by moonlight
The ship sets sail from dock.

Fear not fear of gruesome things,
They'll lead you back to light.
For you only have to stay so long,
Make a left or right.

What dreams you hold, can't slip away
By such simple means as age,
You can hold them dearly always,
When done one side you turn the page.

Music oh the sweetened sound,
Of bells that ring and chime-
And chant on through the morning glories
A song of sweetened rhyme.

Enchantress of a spider weaving,
A handshake to fair death-
And slip upon the nightshades calling-
Sucking in your breath.

Joys of wonder, fancy that
A mystery of so kind-
And you may never leave again,
When found what light is shinned.

Whisk away conformity
In darkness, blackness, plight-
Never let a whisper echo-
Don your wings and now take flight.

Interesting begs you, woman, man-
To simply allow escape,
To rest upon the slipping sands
To open that closed drape.

Have you held a hand of sweetened bliss,
Have you counted every chance to miss-
Did it leave your mind to hunger,
Have you felt my tempting kiss?

Dawdle in the wild flowers,
Swing from sturdy tree's,
Fill your nose with floral fragrance's
Beg honey from the bee's.

Sing to me my precious angel,
Take a chance of whim-
Dance the dance of rivers flowing,
Fill emptiness to the brim.

Some have dreampt of terrible times,
By no fault of your own?
But turn your back to univited-
See what I have sown.

Bite into that tempting twist,
A smile precedes a laugh,
Link your hands with every wish-
Sent up on your behalf.

See what dreams can undo?
What stess can be relieved?
Think again on what you fancy-
Dance on plains we all have grieved.

Imagine a world that's strictly you-
A dream of dreams best sought,
Winding own a mellow road-
See what gifts you've brought.

Do you wish, or want to fly,
Can you hold my hand?
Can we slip through realities door,
Shall I explore your land?

Side-step nope, impossible
Take the hand of fate-
And we shall see where we lead
In early, mid, and late.

I bid farewell to poverty,
Lonely's gone again;
Cherrish me forgotten moment-
I've got a tale to spin.

Weave a vision, write a word-
From finish back to start,
And I invite you unbeliever,
We are NOT a world apart.

I can ride a winged horse,
My angel wings can be black-
I can lead you from edge to edge,
Don't you dare turn back.

I will pull you into horror,
You must have an open mind-
And we will leave, open and vacant
A less inventive kind.

Into tales of fiction tread,
Open up a dusty book-
And watch a quest for truth mistaken,
Where you never thought to look.

I can feel your quickened breath,
Your heart beats in my ear,
And I have carried smaller creatures
Away from all my fears.

Envelope me my dancing love,
I'll never let you go alone-
And travel in imaginitive depths,
See how much we've grown?

Now tell me awesome dream believer,
Which is your favorite place-
And you can lead me for a change,
Forget the numbered face!

And we can fly in your ship,
Claim the stars upon the sky,
For I would love to see the fancy
That precedes the sand man in your eye.

Don't forget me, please come back!
I'm drifting off to sleep,
And now my dreams of night have covered,
But by morning your secret will keep.

And as the music plays from cities,
To pull me from a thought,
A smile pulls across my lips-
I saw what you had brought.

We'll dream together, untill nightfall,
You can dance and I shall fly,
And we will write them for someone,
To ever escape the why.

So dream and smile, always always-
By day, by night, with me,
Tell me tell me what you wish-
Please let's see what we can see.

My dream with yours is callin daily-
So please, don't dare forget;
Because my reader, read again-
All this, my dreams, are writ.
