Places to Visit

There are many wonderful places to visit on the Isle of Wight, and it has lots of features for little kids, but sadly we've outgrown all these now, *sob*  Oh well, take a look at what the Island has to offer anyway......hmmm.

Beaches The island is surrounded by beaches; they all vary though. The beaches to the eastern side like Ryde, Sandown, and Bembridge are all fairly sandy, but are very busy in the summer! Beaches to the West like Compton and Freshwater are brilliant for surfing when theres a good enough swell, the waves can be up to about 5-6 ft (Once in a blue moon!) The only problem is that the are loads of landslides and weaver fish (EVIL CREATURES!!!) I have been stung twice by the buggers and I can tell you it's not too nice, about 100 times worse than a bee sting! You can't really go swimming down here though as you will get swamped by surfer dudes. Ice Rink Ice rink...O no...Sorry, its now called PLANET ICE (gay!) Well this is where you are supposed to go ice skating, hence the name ice rink. But instead the townies use it as a place for a piss-up then they go off staggering on the ice. Keep away if you want to live, thats my advice anyway! LA Bowl AHHHHH...The LA Bowl. It would be alright if it was used by people to ACTUALLY go bowling, but the young youths decide that instead of using it as a BOWLING ALLEY, they will use it as a place to have a massive piss up. They always end up trashing the place and scaring away any poor people that actually do want to bowl! This place is crammed full of townies and I advise that you stay away!! Robin Hill AWWWW...Robin Hill....the good old days. Well this is actually a little country park for kids! The only good thing about it is the toboggan run, which is great! I was put off for life though when i was a kid. I was on the toboggan for the first time on my own, when these punks from behinh came crashingdown and hit my cart! I was not impressed!  Another time the lift thing stopped and I had to hold on for dear life, otherwise I would have fallen!!! That was pretty funny tho. Even tho I said I wouldn't come back, me and my mates crept in last summer from the bushes! Tut Tut Blackgang Chine Ahhhh...The one and only...BLACKGANG Chine. This is another parky place for littluns. The only thing is half of it is in the sea, and the other half is rapidly disppearing into he sea! So as you can imagine there is a slight problem! The ultimate question is....BLACKGANG...or ...ROBIN HILL? Personally I think Robin Hill: 1) u can sneak in ( hehe!) 2) The lads that work there are better lookin! 3) It has a toboggan 4) I'm a really sad twat! So there you have it folks. Hehehee! Island Nightlife There isnt really too much to do at Nite time here, apart from the obvious get drunk thing. There are a few  'Under 18's clubs' o plurleze! It was fine until you actually got in these clubs, you took a look around you and what do you see, a bunch of little squirts who look about 5! UPDATE: I'm adding Xenas/Bobby G's in here as apparently it was always full of little 10 year olds running around, er, great. I'm glad I never wasted the time or money ever going there. If you ever walk past an IOW townie, you will often hear: "You goin daaaaannnnn daaaaa front?" This, translated into intellectual terms means: "Are you going down to the seafront tonight?" The "front", as the scums put it, is just a cold place where the sea is, and not much else. They all like to hang around there and do their drugs or whatever it is they do! .....hmmmmm sounds like fun! (yeah right!)
