        Mountain Bluebells
	 Mertensia ciliata
	  This plant often grows in lush, dense stands.  The individual plants are
	two or three feet tall, and have drooping blue blossoms which are over an
	inch long. Many wild animals utilize it -- both for food and for bedding.
