Garlic Fish

        • White fish- 1 lb. (skinned & cut into large chunks)
        • Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp
        • Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
        • Cumin powder- 1 tsp
        • Aniseed powder- 1 tsp
        • Crushed Garlic- 3 cloves
        • Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
        • Oil for deep-frying
        • Salt to taste

        Wash the fish and pat dry with paper towels. Mix all the spice powders, garlic & salt with lemon juice to make a paste and coat the fish pieces with it. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for an hour.

        Deep-fry the marinated fish in hot oil until golden brown. Drain the excess oil in paper towels and serve hot.
