Puris

        • Wheat flour (atta)- 2 cups
          or
        • All purpose flour (maida)- 2 cups
        • Dalda- 2 tablespoons
        • Milk- 5 tablespoons
        • Salt to taste
        • Oil

        Mix the flour, dalda, milk and salt with little water. Knead well to make smooth dough. Cover with wet muslin cloth and set aside for an hour. Make lemon sized balls out of the dough. Roll out each ball into flat round shape using a rolling pin. Dust it with some flour. Repeat this with all the remaining balls.

        Heat a cup of oil in a deep curved pan (kadai). Put the puris in the hot oil and cook until both the sides are golden brown. Press the puris with the spatula to puff up in between the process. Repeat this with all the puris. Serve hot with channa masala or mashed potato masala or any kurma.
