Ghost in the Shell
I guess cyborgs like myself tend to be paranoid about our origins.

      ... Motoko

      Summary

Special agent Motoko Kusinagi is not your average cop of the future. She is one of many
high maintainence cyborgs in a surreal vision of tomorrow's Tokyo dreamed up by the
reknown manga artist, Masamune Shirow. Motoko's entire body is one mean killing machine except for her
distinctly human brain, the ghost in her shell. With this highly effective body,
it is the ghost or the soul that bothers Motoko as she contemplates an existence
where clones and cyborgs strip away the external uniqueness that is so important
for human individuality. The dirty work of catching Tokyo's top criminals keeps
Motoko's mind off her internal struggles but this next case, this Puppet Master
has brought those two worlds colliding together at tremendous velocity.
