I’m at the airport to Glasgow. My friends and I, last night while in Dublin, had an interesting time. My friend Lars and I separated from the group to stop by an atm & were going to meet the other 8 @ one of the oldest pubs in Dublin, whose name escapes me now. Well, it took us a good hour to find it as we were given the wrong directions 3 different times by 3 different people. And of course as we were walking around looking for the place, it started to pour. Not fun. B/c of the rain, it flooded a part of the sidewalk (& half of the street) so we had to climb across a gate in order to get across. Fun fun.

We eventually found the pub and played some good games of asshole. We got back to the hostel @ a bit after midnight. Half of the group, being drunk and all, kept up the lively evening with great conversations and amusements. By the time I went to bed it was around 1 am, which was great b/c I had to get up this morning @ 4:45am – right. O_o Luckily, I did wake up in time (barely, before my alarm would automatically turn off) & was able to get to the airport in time. SO right now I’m eating breakfast – a muffin & hot chocolate- YUM Ah the simple things in life. Well time to catch my flight.
Cheers!

What a busy day! I did the touring scene & the shopping scene. What fun! And the day is even better knowing that I’ll be heading to an incredibly cozy hotel – The Victorian House – I totally recommend that place! Wow! It’s wonderful! Well, maybe subconsciously I’m comparing it to the hostel from last night.)

All I know is that I’ll sleep well tonight! So today I took the city tour and stopped off @ Glasgow Cathedral – beautiful place. I was going to also stop off @ their science center, but literally, there were only 8 cars in the parking lot. O_o So I skipped that. Maybe next time. I also visited the Museum of Modern Art, which was incredibly interesting. They had some really awesome displays. Afterwards I went shopping – didn’t get anything regional or too interesting, just some cds. I stopped by McDonalds to get a flurry & saw that they had smurf happy meals. Had to get one just so I could give the toy to my roommate, who’s a big smurf fan. Good times. Good times. They food still tasted crappy, then again, I haven’t eaten at a McDonalds in such a long times, Years even. In any case, I’m planning on sleeping for many hours tonight b/c I have to get up early tomorrow to head back to Ireland. I hope I get back okay, unlike last week where this guy got stranded in Edinburgh for a day. O_o Eep! Oh well, Ciao!
