Awards received in the competitive events serve as an excellent measure of institutional effectiveness for our business programs. The conference included participation by 32 colleges and universities across the state and attracted 421 participants. These awards received indicate that our students can effectively compete even with students from colleges and universities across the state.
The winners' names marked with an asterisk (*) indicate that they are qualified to advance to national-level competition in their events and serve to represent North Carolina and Durham Tech at the National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida in July 2001.
