Newsie Bears??
Ok, I just had a crazy mad idea... I was working on this stocking, that I've been working on for the past 2 years, and there's this cute little teddy bear that come off of the stocking, and I was thinking, 'Oh wouldn't it be cute if I could make a whole bunch of these to give to my friends?' Then, outta nowhere, comes this crazy idea... Make these little bears, all different, and sew the names of a different newsie on the back of each of them, and send them around to other newsie fans??  The idea was kind of sketchy, but I think I have it all clear...
1. I sew up these bears all at once, but make them all look different.  Take me about a week.
2. Send each bear to a different newsie fan somewhere in the world.
3. They keep it for a month, then ask me for the address of the next person in line for that newsie bear.
4. They also send me a picture of them with the bear, in front of something famous in their state/country, by e- or snail-mail.
5. I put it up here!!
6. In 2003, I ask that all the bears will be sent back to me, so I can take them with me to college.
7. Alright, this is a new one, so it's in RED!! I've already had to spend around $10 on these bears... for postage and materials.  I'm a student, so of course, I don't have the best income.  **5 bucks?  We ain' even got 5 cents!**  So, if you could, I'd really appreciate it if you could send $.50 or $1 with the bears.  IT'S NOT A MUST!  But it would help me keep this going.  So, thanks.
8. If you want to sign up for a b
ear, e-mail me, and tell me your nickname and who you want.  When the bear is ready to be sent to you, I'll ask you for your address.  K? Thanks.

~~~~~> Another thing I want to say is that each bear will have a loop of 9 bead sewn into the left side of their chest, on the inside.
A clear bead, for The Prologue.
A red bead, for Santa Fe.
An orange bead, for Carryin' The Banner.
A yellow bead, for King of New York.
A green bead, for The World Will Know.
A blue bead, for the Chorale.
A purple bead, for High Times, Hard Times.
A pink bead, for Lovey-Dovey Baby.
A black bead, for Once and For All.
Sewn in a loop, for "One for All and All for One" in Seize the Day.
For info on the first bears, and who they went to, go to the Ambassabears site... cheesy, ain't it?
GET A BEAR
Go back...
What, are you outta your mind?
'S a good idea!
'S a horrible idea...
