Here's Ray, formative member of the 'Scimitar challenged' society as we set off up a hill in the Lake District a while ago. Ray runs a lovely little SE5 tax free jobbie that is currently off road with a little MOT problem. The next time I am down his way with my camera I shall commit images of his pride and joy here.

Sadly Mrs Ray had a slight altercation with a wall, or rather the rear wheel arch of the Scimitar did. When I got my choke cable, we made a bit of a day of it and hacksawed the rear arch off a sad SE5 in that same dismantlers. I am told that Ray's arch is no longer fallen and is like repairs to fiberglass should be, better than new.
