* * The Dopp-Rock Asteroid * * Welcome to our happy little rock! Yes, this odd little trio, MelberLime, MoogerMint, and ShanIon live together on an asteroid. Our parents lost patience with our antics and refused to be associated with us. Not really, but they did so very kindly buy this little rock and set us on it. If we really wanted to (and we often do), we could go back home and terrorize our whole family. But we like it up here, it's quiet, spacious enough for all our personal needs, and we have transportation to get back home whenever we need supplies. Neat, huh? Our unofficial guardian and chaperone is Captain Fhilsimian. Since none of us are old enough to pilot our own ship, (one must be at least 50 years old Terran), Fhil was entrusted with our care. He says he actually lives on the ship even though he has his own wing all to himself; either way, he comes out of his seclusion long enough to eat meals with us, and to exercise. Oh, by the way, Fhil is a proboscis monkey who likes expensive hats and he speaks several languages. And he assures us that he's the only person who will put up with us. He mentioned once that we remind him of his kids... MoogerMint, ShanIon, and MelberLime all have their own set of "wheels" (approved for our young selves of course!), which will be explained in more detail on our own individual pages. Each vehicle can be docked on the ship, which is a very good thing, since neither of them are equipped for long-distance travel. The four of us have our own living space within a diamond-shaped compound decorated for our own individual tastes. Each room is in it's own wing, together surrounding a diamond-shaped cloister. In the center is a large courtyard where we sit and eat our meals. From here the view of our home planet, a reddish ringed gas giant (due to its large amounts of iron in the atmosphere), is breathtaking. To each side of the complex is a building devoted to the hobbies and extracurricular activities of each of the sisters and their guardian. Each will, of course, be described in better detail on each individual's page. Despite the highly personalized the areas devoted to each of the inhabitants, we are always happy to entertain curious visitors. It is, unfortunately, so easy to become bored when you live in outer space! So take a load off, make yourself comfortable, and have a look around! * * * Design notes: |
