Piosa's long, light-brown hair is vibrant and luxurious, the envy of many young women her age and beyond. Perhaps to spite them all, she almost always wears it tied up, in a bun or braid, to keep it out of her face.
¤ Eyes
Her dark-chocolate brown eyes are full and well-endowed with a healthy fringe of chocolate-colored lashes. They appear both innocent and highly-intelligent at the same time.
¤ Physique
Slender and dainty, Piosa seems completely unable to fend for herself. However, where brute strength is absent, this girl more than makes up for with deft fingers and a precise eye.
¤ Appearance
As the daughter of a Morair, Piosa is obliged to wear fashionable embroidered dresses and skirts, in a rainbow of monochromatic beads and ribbons. As a compromise, he lets her wear her favorite pair of soft leather half-boots, which are neither tacky nor particularly pretty. He does not know about the pouch hidden under her skirts which contains a set of very pretty, very deadly throwing knives, given as a gift by Sumuru. Each beautifully-crafted knife is about the width and thickness of a spoon handle, and easy to use.

¤ Attitude
Only slightly snobby -- what spoiled child isn't? or so she thinks -- Piosa is often brought back "down to earth" by her companion Sumuru, while ever at her side has nevertheless had the harder life of a servant. She is calm in a tough situation, and congenial; she understands her duties but does not have to enjoy them. She would much rather be out on the range herding bovines and ryanths, or scrubbing latrines, or selling fruit at market. Needless to say, she is not the happiest girl on Danach and is quite free of spirit, but to hide it she graces everyone with a smile.
¤ Likes and Dislikes
Secretly, Piosa dislikes wearing skirts, and envies Sumuru the freedom of movement. But that is only a trivial thing, something to be thought of to get her mind off the future. She does not want to breed, she does not want to be a smiling Morair wife. It is demeaning to her intelligence. To her, it is an honor but a shame, a feeling she does not quite understand.
¤ Hobbies
Piosa loves to paint landscapes, and grudgingly likes to sew, but mostly due to its usefulness. She takes a very unladylike, savage pleasure in practicing with her throwing knives.

¤ Father
The Morair of a moderately-sized Keep, he has just enough monetary value to his name to have eked his way up in the social hierarchy of Danachian society. For Piosa this equals a life of less freedom than she might have had otherwise, for her father is overprotective, having assigned a playmate for each of his daughters to later be molded into a bodyguard to ensure her safety. In this way, perhaps, he values only their ability to cement ties with more influencial families than he does for their personal safety.

A woman who has soaked up the Danachian party scene like a slice of bread dipped in wine. She is aloof and unmotherly to children in general, including her own. She is ever at her lord's side, exchanging gossip and sipping bubbly throughout the night.

Piosa has several brothers and sisters, some elder but most younger. Sumuru is far closer to her than any of them, though she has always been well-cared for and loved by her elders, and seen to it that her younger siblings receive the same from herself.
