Faceted and color-variant, like other Danachian dragons.
¤ Physique
As a Black, Wachterth is large, at par with Starrys and Silvers. Being a rare female, she is a little slender compared to other Blacks, but she is fierce and whip-quick, like an alligator.
¤ Appearance
Wachterth is coal-black, with just a hint of grey to her hide. Only during a Chase would one notice the metallic undertone to her hide, or perhaps intense sunlight, when it may be mistaken for a well-oiled sheen. Sumuru takes meticulous care with her dragon, finding it meditative, so the Black's hide is, in fact, extremely well-oiled.

Wachterth is generally low-key, with a quietly ironic sense of humor. She has the confidence that comes to one who is too large to be messed with, and knows it all too well. With age, she will come to regard younger, smaller dragons with the fondness of a parent-figure.
¤ Hobbies
When she is not watching out for Guastatoth and Piosa, or viewing Sumuru's knife practices, she enjoys flying and swimming. The pressure of water against her body is a comforting cradle to such a heavy mass; she enjoys the rocking and lazy drift of the sea.
