Can Sailor Moon wield her scepter well enough to beat Zelda? How about Sailor Moon vs Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

I think not.

Then again, there are possibilities. And these possibilities are explored at The Sailor Moon Crossover Page, a fanfiction site about Sailor Moon and...well, whatever crossover you'd care to imagine.

The page opens with a splash that is simple, it does its job, and it is not confusing. It also sets the tone for the rest of the page...the other pages in the site use this basic format.

The entire page is simple, easy to navigate, and the content is quite interesting. Perhaps the biggest draw of the site is the idea that people can submit their own ideas for Sailor Moon crossovers to the site.

The only minor improvement that I'd suggest is look into improving the contrast between the blue background and the white text. Perhaps a darker blue background would improve the visablity of the lettering a tad.

Even with that though, The Sailor Moon Crossover Page is a nice site, and I believe that it will do very well.

To be honest I had never heard of this site before I checked the 3 Cats Forum probably because it has only been up since December '99. But now that I know of it, I will definately be returning.

If you couldn't tell from the name, this site is a fan fic archive featuring Sailormoon Fan Fics with a twist; they feature everyone's favorite Sailor Senshi teaming up, fighting against, or becoming other fave charcaters. This provides a unique perspective on fan fics if you're sick of all the "let's find out what really went on in the Silver Millenium" stories that exist.

The layout is simple and fast loading (VERY fast loading) and even includes those nifty mouseover buttons that change when you move your mouse...well...over them. Normally this would make the site slower to load but, here it really doesn't!

The fan fics are easily accessible in thier own categories, i.e. Sailormoon and Dragonball crossovers in one archives, Sailormoon and Zelda crossovers in another. It even has a miscellaneous section for a Sailromoon and Buffy fic (which I found very refreshing I found the ending hillarious!) and even a Ranma 1/2 crossover which I know a few friends of mine will be overjoyed to hear about.

Something else worth mentioning is the "Challenges" area where you can submit ideas for fic writters to write about. These ideas that you submit are posted in another section where everyone can view them. This is a great idea because there are so many people out there who have no idea what to write their fic about.

Now to check out the awards section. Only two? This will grow in time as more people hear about this site I'm sure.

Another good idea is the update list which viewers can join. Weather the webmaster puts this to good use I don't know. It's a good idea though that many sites are implementing. If used right this can be a great feature.

Something else that is exceptional is the "Submit fanfic" page where you simply copy and paste your fic into the submit form. This is much more user-friendly than other sites where they force you to email it to them.

Unfortunately, there are some gliches that really need to be fixed. While all the fan fic links seem to be working in all the archives, the menu buttons are NOT. I didn't notice this at first as I have a habit of using the back button on my browser alot, but once I found this problem and checked it out I found it prevailed in the majority of all the sections except for the main page. This definitly needs to be fixed and I am at a loss as to how the webmasters could miss this. This is a big flaw and needs to be fixed.

Somthing else which caught my attention is how the top of the main page isn't centered while the banners and update list form are. This could most likely be fixed with tables. This isn't really that big of an issue, it's just my aesthetic suggestion.

Overall this is a site that delivers to the alternate fic writer/reader in us all and is a place you should definitly keep your eyes on.
