The Sailormoon Katnip Palace is a Sailormoon links site written with a really nice atmosphere and style. Right from the beginning, a viewer is greeted by an artful manga pic with the main page menu slipped into the corners, which is a nice touch...I've seen menus woven into the screenshots before, and it takes real know-how to to it and do it good. (The only other one I have seen similar to this was the Casper College Dept. of Science's page, and it has animated pics hovering over a map. the pics are stationary until you put your cursor on em...but I digress...) The links are broken up into eight categories, and is a very nice resource for people who want to check out a slice of the Sailormoon universe. The webmaster has put in an auto-add feature which allows you to add sites to the links lists, which is quite nice. There are not many times I can say that I am impressed by a link-me page, but the banners one finds in here to link to this site are beautiful. The site also has a "mascot maker", which is something not seen on your average Sailormoon site. On the plus side technically, there are no popups, which means the webmaster is a Tripod member. ::cheer:: I'll always support people who put down a bit of money in order to a): support free web servers, and b): make their own page a bit better by banishing the annoyance of popups. The only minor negative was that a couple of the areas need to be finished, but other than that, Katnip Palace has really done a good job of making a links page a pleasure to visit. This site is basically a links page for Sailormoon sites. It doesn't have that cold feeling that many links pages have. The front page is beautifully simple. Even though the image is large, it wasn't a slow loader. Nice font...easy to read. Checking out the link topics. The lovely aqua font color used in the sections for general, images, my eyes. That's really not meant for a white background. That yellow in the baddies section is also a bad choice. The "Add Page" section could really use some spicing up. Why not use some sort of customized layout with graphics? I would avoid using the black background since the rest of the page has a light and airy theme. While checking out the pages I encountered broken links that need to either be fixed or a page should be made. I know it is hard to get a page totally up, but having some sort of page rather than just a broken link portrays a more professional attitude about the site.
