Celestial Moon Kingdom

Celestial Moon Kingdom is a general Sailor Moon information page that has a bright future. It simply needs to smooth out some rough edges.

When you get to the site, you are greeted with a simple page. The layout is not going to dazzle you with intricate frames layouts or things that require you to have X by X resolution. For now, the layout is a pleasant combination of green and white, with a few graphics. The entire layout is dedicated to Sailor Neptune. The load time is quite fast, thanks to the lack of emphasis on graphics.

At first glance, there are a lot of activities to get into. And it is in checking through them that I discovered some of the rough spots in the site. he good news is that with some patience and a fine-tooth comb, these things can be fixed, and the presentation of the site will be improved quite nicely.

Before leaving the main page, I noticed that the About section seemed to be worded a bit awkward. The problem is centered around the sentence "This site is mostly informational, but has a variety of other pages."

There are some spelling errors scattered throughout some of the pages. In the season summaries, you mention "Baryl", when the correct spelling is "Beryl". On the Naoko page, Kofu is located in the Yamanashi Prefecture...you have an extra h in the word. (Only us Human Atlas types would have picked that up...) There is also the problem of capitalization. At several points in your series summaries, you don't capitalize some of the words in Sailor Moon, which of course, as the title of an anime, should be capitalized. Again, these are little things, but the problem with little things is they tend to build up and a person should not be given the chance to come away from your page with a bad opinion.

The following problems are a bit more serious. There appears to be some factual problems in your series summaries, specifically, in the dubbed version of the series, the three talismans form the Purity Chalice. I won't fault you for the use of the term "talismans" because the dub is really clumsy about its naming of the artifacts in question. However, the one thing they stick with is the Purity Chalice.

A bit later, you also say that you don't know how Super S ends because it was carried over into Stars. This is not the case. Super S ends with the dream world restored, and the defeat of Queen Nehellenia, Zirconia, and their henchmen.

I found the lyrics section to be quite entertaining, but I was disappointed that the lyrics for Moonlight Densetsu are not completed. Also, the "Rants" links that are on some of your navigation bars don't work.

As a service to the fans, please source your materials in the "Fast Facts" section. Some sources for factoids within the SM community are a source for some debate amongst the fans.

I *DO* like the Opinions page. I don't know of too many pages that set aside space for fan opinions about Sailor Moon.

Well, as I said before, the page has a nice future. All that is needed in my opinion, is some touch-up work. Of course, you are free to disregard my opinion if you wish. Whether you take my advice or not, have fun with your page. If you're not having fun while building your page, then it is not worth doing. :)
