There are times when I get a submission for a review, go to the page, and after it opens, I find myself wondering how I missed this page in my wanderings through the community.

Home of the Senshi.com is such a page.

HOTS.com is a very diversified general Sailor Moon site with an attractive format and a TON of things for the user to do. The current main page is a very fast-loading green-based layout with a nice banner at the top of the page. The navigation of the site is smack-dab in the middle of the main page, with special attractions circled around the edges. The main page layout is easy on the eyes, while looking quite sophisticated at the same time.

The picture galleries are quite extensive and contain some pics that I have not seen before. There is a nice set of MIDI files, and the start of a fanfic archive. HOTS.com runs a webpage review group.

One thing that I don't think I have ever seen anywhere else is Sailormoon-style clocks that a user can download and put on a webpage. Quite neat!

The main information pages are arranged in "bedrooms" for each character. In each character's room, you can find various sub-pages that have in-depth material on the characters, such as diary entries and such. Each room is a bit different from the others, and the graphics quality of the rooms is quite nice.

The navigation sometimes gets a bit confusing. The "Information Center" link takes you to a set of profiles that are rather plain. These same profiles are also accessed through the bedrooms. The "Summaries" link gives no clue to what it is summarizing and it leads to a set of summaries on the series, with information both on the dub and original versions.

There are a couple other problems besides the navigation confusion I just mentioned. Once again, the profiles are a bit plain. This is a recurring theme in my reviews...profiles should tell me something besides all of the things that almost every other profile page in the SM community has. It may seem a bit wierd putting personal outlooks in an info area, but your own personal opinions on the characters would be a draw to the profiles and would entice users to stay at your pages longer.

There are some minor mis-spellings in the name guide. For instance, the correct Japanese form of Sailor Mars' "normal" identity is "Hino Rei". Along similar lines, the text in the "Articles" section needs to follow basic format structure. Don't center entire paragraphs (the "Most Likely to get Flamed When..." article), and please break up your text into noticeable paragraphs (some of the other articles). Both of these errors make articles very hard to read. Much of the same thing applies to the reviews in the WPR.

Home of the Senshi.com is a very enjoyable place to visit, with lots of things to see and do. *starts handing out the bookmarks*
