Janice's Sailor Moon Page is a site that seems mostly dedicated to pictures and web backgrounds. The site seems to do a lot of things, and some of them are done well..but there are some areas where definate improvements can be made. Let's start with the good stuff. The site has pics...tons and tons of pics. And, all of them are neatly sorted into categories and they have thumbnails. The site also has a large links section, which is again, highly organized...this time into alphabetical groups, which are themselves alphabetized. This level of organization is something I like... I also like how on some of the pages, the text slides over the background...I've always wondered whether I should try that on my page... Now to the areas the site needs to improve upon. First off, they may want to look into a better way to do the thumbnails. When I clicked on a pic, the first one took 30 seconds to load. The second took 15... The problem with this might be that the browser still has to go out and load a full-blown copy of the original. A quick jog to HTML Goodies should solve the problem, as they recently put up a tutorial dealing with thumbnails. There are some broken links in the main menu section, specifically, the one going to the "Season Summaries". On the links pages, please get rid of the background. It is hard to read the text with Luna-P staring out at ya every few inches in varius blue hues which clash with the black text. The villain shrine to Malachite has not been finished. The only update info I have suggests that this page hasn't been updated in nearly a year... While this site still has enough resources in terms of transparent GIFs and web graphics, and just pics in general to still be a nice place to stop, I doubt I'd find myself hanging out there. If the webmaster ever decides to update the page however, that could very easily change. Artemis' Score: 5.6
The opening page of this site is interesting. Well-layed-out; yet she should shorten the page. Most people don't like to scroll down to see stuff. ^_^ The image gallery is very nice. The words shouldn't scroll over the picture, although. ^_^ Ahh... thumbnails. Very nice. I love the links page. You can choose A-B, etc... It's ... very pretty! I love it. ^_^ Originality shines through on this girl's page, and I would reccomend it to almost anyone. Although it needs some work, I say it's a lovely site. Luna's Score: 8
