Scene 1: Song: Hector's Hymn

Hector:
Lord of Sun,
Hark to this soldier;
Shining One,
Hear me, your servant.

There's a pause, and after offering benedictions, he stands and sees Paris.

Paris, this is your offense
Paris, you've got no defence
Your crimes are at my expense
It's for you we're dying!
Can you see the field of war
Where men lie bleeding?
Can't you see more death in store
This is your doing!
When I see my soldier boys in torment
That's when I know
Paris' death will be god-sent!
Lord of Sun,
Pity the ones
At your mercy.
Paris, we know no more bliss
Paris, you will pay for this!
Paris, you will not be missed
When you're sent to Hades!
If you only could have died
If you only could be lying there
Instead innocents
Are taking up your burden.
When I think this could have been avoided
Then I know you
Firebrand, you're the death of Troy!
Does life feel nice, little worm?
Do you enjoy this?
Where's your real wife, little worm?
Cast into the dark abyss;
We're all cast into your abyss.
