When 25% slow potion is thrown, the words "38% slow" is shown for some unfathomable reason. Notice than it goes back to 25% slow the next turn? I know for sure that Talinia has no slowing strike skill at that point. Stranger Things happened

Stuck in NQII :(

Arghhh help! I can't enter Hubrid Nox Fortress! Heheh, just joking.

Conclusion: All normal 'attack' takes damage from damage shield except for Talinia's.
Magical attacks (DD, GD, MT, CH) are not affected by damage shield
Rohane's 'attack': Damage sustained

Mipsy's 'attack': Damage sustained

Talinia's 'attack': No Damage sustained

Velm's 'attack': Damage sustained

Mipsy's direct damage: No damage sustained by Mipsy

Talinia's multiple target: No damage sustained by Tally

Velm's celestial hammer: No damage sustained by Velm
Proof of the efficacy of slow potions on monsters that have previously been mesmerized. The slow potions do not break the mesmerization spell.

Proof that Mipsy's slowing spells work on monsters that have previously been mesmerized. The spell do not break the mesmerization spell.

No sucess on monsters...terrible in fact. Where is the spirit!

Ahha...The spirit returns...
On 11th August 2005, Father's sword is tested on King Terask 2.
The maximum damage of 100 observed is due to critical attack.
This ocurred 5 times during the test fight, confirming the news of the damage
downgrade of Father's Sword from the initial 180?210? dmg.
It is now nearly on par with the Sword of Apocalypse (SOA). So why is everyone
recommending it?
The advantage of FS over SOA is it's capability of handing out high damage more
frequently.
Although I have seen SOA giving >100dmg, which is seldom, a consistent damage by
FS is preferable.

Proof that Rohane's Stunning Strike can work on normal mode (in insane mode, it doesn't work)

the following two screenshots were taken by bgryph:
Proof that Talinia's Shockwave does work in insane mode although it doesn't occur frequently

Proof that Velm's Celestial Hammer does work in insane mode although it doesn't occur frequently

Evil, KT2 time

Insane mode, KT2 time

(special thanks to Eddie, KT and others who graciously lent their weapons for testing)
*pls ignore the dmg points as they're also dependent on your pet's strength
