BRICKS

These are the bricks we have chosen. They are manufacutred in South Australia , by "Hallett Bricks". The 'New York Red' will be used for the quions (corners), and around the all the windows & bottom 3 rows all around the house. The front will be finished off using the "Marrakesch Random" which will give it a look of randomly cut stone. The remainder of the house will be in the 'standard' size Marrakesch brick.

FLOORING

(This is very similar to the colour we have chosen)

We are using 'quick-step - uniclic' laminated timber flooring for the main living areas. We have also decided (with Dad's help) to lay it ourselves - it's supposed to be very easy - I hope so !!

KITCHEN

For our kitchen benchtops we have chosen Laminex 'Russet Granite' (left), (although it is actually more red/rusty than the picture above)

and our kitchen cupboard doors will be in 'New Antique White' (right), with an arch shaped groove and brass handles.
