Synopsis: This section of the comic is narrated entirely by
Catwoman. We start off with Batgirl beating up a bunch of drunken thugs
in an alley. After she is done, Catwoman introduces herself to Batgirl
and invites her to help watch the city’s project manager. They follow him
through the city, beating up some gangsters in the Hill along the way.
In Oracle’s apartment, Oracle is speaking to Batman through her computer
system. They discuss the reasons why Batgirl doesn’t need much training,
and why Batman is not worried about her working alone on the streets of
Gotham. Batgirl and Catwoman finally end up at Cathedral Square, where
they disrupt the meeting between the Penguin and the project manager. While
Batgirl beats up the guards, Catwoman figures out what’s going on. Apparently,
the Penguin is trying to buy the plans to every building in the city. Catwoman
then proceeds to burn all the papers, as Batgirl finishes off the rest
of the guards. After the excitement, Catwoman attempts to follow Batgirl,
but Batgirl already knew what Catwoman would do, proving herself to be
someone to never underestimate. Finally, in Oracle’s apartment, Batgirl
returns home.
