What if you don't get that parole that you expected to get. In some prisons parole is very difficult to get, and often you do not get paroled when planned. These times can hurt you very much. It is normal for a Christian to experience disappointment when things don't work out as a person hoped them to. Yet, our loving God knows best, and when we don't get what we want it is important to remind ourselves that God loves us and wants the best for His children. You can handle this, because you have Jesus in your life. Read Philippians 4:13, and Philippians 4:6-7.
We are told in the Bible that when prosperity comes to us we are to enjoy it, and when hard times come we are to realize that they come from God just as the good times do. We need to understand that nothing is certain in life. Read Ecclesiastes 7:14. The best thing to do is trust God no matter what the circumstances.
There is bad news other than not getting paroled, from death of a loved one to divorce. When bad news comes to you, keep reminding yourself that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Read Jeremiah 29: 11. Remember that for Christians all things will eventually work out for good. Read Romans 8:28. God's good doesn't always mean good in the way we think of it. Christians are only visitors here, (Read Hebrews 11: 13-16 and 1 Peter 2: 11) and while we are here Jesus said that the rain will fall on the just and the unjust alike. Read Matthew 5:45. We are citizens of the Kingdom of God and will come into God's full relationship and promises when we enter heaven.
Because you may be experiencing trials and problems, you feel that you don't measure up. This is not true! When you are experiencing problems, go to God and ask Him what He is trying to teach you. Read 2 Corinthians 4:17. Then commit it to prayer and most of the time you will see the answer. If you don't see an answer, and sometimes you won't, then just stand on this scripture - Romans 8:28. It will all make sense once you get to heaven. This is called faith, the belief in the things unseen. Read Hebrews 11:1. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Read Hebrews 11:6.

Psalm 34: 19, Isaiah 43:2, Jeremiah 29: 11, Mark 11:24, Romans 8:28, 1 Corinthians 10:13, 2 Corinthians 4:17, and Philippians 4: 13, 19.

If you need to know about God's goodness to prisoners, read and think about - Psalm 68: 5-6, and Psalm 107: 10-16.
As you meditate on God's Word, pray and seek God, the Holy Spirit will reveal more and more the true meaning of scripture and the will of God for your life. Read John 14: 26 and John 16: 13. There will be mysteries that just won't make sense. I believe that these mysteries are there so that we must exercise our faith. Remember, this pleases God. Read Hebrews 11:6, and1 Corinthians 134: 10-12.
In the final analysis, be anxious for nothing by taking it to God with a thankful attitude and He will give you a supernatural peace about it. Read Philippians 4: 6-7. The Holy Spirit will teach you the meaning of scripture. Just keep praying.
