Let's consider the life cycle of a human being, but turn it around the opposite way.

1. You die first, and get that out of the way.

2. Then immediately you go to a nursing home until they kick you out, because you're too young.

3. You then get a gold watch, and go to work.

4. You work say for about forty years; until you are young enough to enjoy your retirement.

5. You graduate, and go to College.

6. You graduate from College, and go to High School. You don't worry about College or High School, because you've already graduated.

7. You become a little kid.

8. You play; you have no responsibility, and you appreciate it.

9. You spend your last nine months floating and playing underwater jump rope, and you end up a gleam in your daddy's eye.

Wouldn't that be great?

BUT

That's not the way it is in this life.

That's the way it is in one way though, when you come to Jesus.

Do you know what Jesus said: Unless you come to me as a little child.

You can come to Him with all your sin, and with all your heartache, and with all your problems, BUT you have to come as a little child believing that He can do something about it.

That's what He means.

When Jesus died on the cross for you and me, He took your whipping for everything you've ever done wrong and mine.

He's not just some great teacher like Buddha or Mohammed who lived and died.

WE SERVE A GREAT SAVIOR THAT ONCE DIED, AND THEN LIVED AGAIN.

Because He is alive, He can meet our needs, and touch our lives and lead us if we ask Him to.

What are you waiting for? Salvation is for today. Ask God to come into your heart, accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
