What is red eye?
Red eye is the red spot on the pupil of your eye that appears occasionally on pictures and this tutorial will explain how to remove it.
How do I remove it?
1) First zoom into the eye.
2) Select "Quick" mask mode from the Toolbox using the mouse or using keyboard Shortcut (Q).
3) Select the "Paintbrush" tool from the toolbox or use keyboard Shortcut (B).
4) Select an appropriately sized brush from the Brushes Palette, ideally it should be soft edged.
5) Paint the effected area of the eye making sure not to overlap onto areas of skin and unaffected portions of the eye.
6) Return to "Standard" mode using the Toolbox or keyboard Shortcut (Q).
7) Choose "Inverse" from the "Select" menu or keyboard Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+I.
8) Choose the "Sponge" tool from the Toolbox or use keyboard Shortcut Shift (O) and cycle through the 3 options, set for 100% Pressure, Desaturate mode and choose an appropriate brush size.
9) Simply paint the selected area until the red disappears.
10) Finally choose "Deselect" from the "Select" menu or keyboard Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+D.
