You are walking in the plains when you see a cloud of dust on the horizon but you keep going to sleep; then you see riders in the distance. You stop and before you can do anything, the riders are upon you, their spears in hand. Up close like that as they point their spears at you, you realize that they are outriders of the Kataii. With their spears they motion you to move.. you do, I mean why wouldn't you, and soon come upon the Kataii Camp. A horn is blown (as was the Ubar) and you see people gathering in front of a huge wagon, as you are hearded towards it. Shouldering your way to the front of the crowd, you see a figure step out of the wagon and sit down on the furs. His voice is a deep rumble as He speaks to you.

Kataii.. what are you doing here? And can you smeeeelll what the Ubar is cooking?"
Also, you should be reminded that the word for stranger and enemy is the same on Gor...As stated in all the books of John Norman...every book....without exception...well he repeated himself.
Kataii is a Force collar, capture Zone by Member and some Honored guest and people with really big AVs and loud voices who take big steps. It is also a kill Zone, capture zone, forced kolar zone, no parking zone. Within the camp all kills must be in accordance to the rules, or made up by the Ubar as he SEES FIT!
If you are a slave, do not think the ~o~ will protect you in Kataii,for it does not. Slaves in the books where never protected by ~o~ in the books and we are by the books, so it's not a protection for you in Kataii. If new to Gor, then say so and be allowed to visit up to 5 times without worries of being collared, cause that is in the books...somewhere...well no not, but ~o~ is not allowed. If using the ~o~ DO NOT interact or serve unless you wish to be collared, but then why were you with an ~o~?
If you are a slave from another camp or city or port, or some place like that..or well...and behave improperly, you are a bad girl will be caged and held and caged and you stay in that cage...cause cages are...caging, until either your Master/Mistress or the Ubar/Ubara or Second of your Home or your Mother or Father, or your homeroom teacher comes to get you. Should no One come to claim you after 2 days, you will be placed in a camp cage, no collar.
FW do not think You are safe either, for if You act out of place or exhibit inproper behavior then one of two thing will happen. One will be that You will be captured, caged and held for ransome or FCed...wait...one of three things might happen. If You have a Homestone keep it in the rock bag, if You do not have a Home, You maybe be caged for a day, or ... or captured ... or one of them three things. if no one comes for You within that time, a camp Collar will be placed on You. Also, You should keep in mind that if You have no home stone (on sale this month for 22 hotel pebbles), You can be collared for just wandering in Kataii alone without a Male Escort (available at Gorean Escorts Internation) for a FW always had guards when She traveled and if travelling alone She would almost always fall to the collar (It is in the BOOKS, so there); so be warned and no ghost guards, vampire guards, spirit guards or nose guards.
Haii Kataii, Oh My
Kataii is a room based on the sci-fi books of John Norman called Gor....it is a harsh world, really rotten, often refered to as rotten earth; where Men rule and most women are slaves for there are Free Women, those being considered slaves not yet collared. There are also male slaves but very few because you cannot count the FM cause they do not admit being slaves to their...slave. Gor is a violent world. I mean, we really rock. On Gor arguments are usually settled with with steel and blood and guts and gore and ... well bones are chicken soup. Phew!
ON GOR there is no magic, vampires, Frankenstein or Buffy, or any of that fun stuff or super powered being ... Batman is dead out.... There is no talking animals except for the Spider people and the Kuri and the Priest Kings, they have translators. So get a translator. (Available at Amazon.com).
