PHOTOGRAPHS

Above picture : The Hotel Blackstone , Omaha , Nebraska. The Blackstone is important in the Jeri Southern story because it was
there that she began as a professional entertainer The above picture shows the Blackstone as it was in the 1920's , as a remarkably
distinctive and beautiful building . It would have changed little by the time Jeri Southern first performed there.

The above picture/s illustrated a short article in Song Hits Magazine in May 1953 .

Above picture : "Would I" - A UK Jeri Southern 45rpm issue .

The above picture : the label of the UK 1984 MCA Jeri Southern compilation on lp record -
MCL1791 - titled " When I Fall In Love " which included (side 2 ~ Track 7) " Cabin ".

The above picture : the label of the US Decca Jeri Southern 45rpm single record 9-30254 ,
titled " Do I Love You Because You're Beautiful " : its "B" side being " Who Am I To Say ".

"Fire Down Below" - the UK 78rpm issue .The success of the record in the then still musically conservative U.K.
was probably helped by its " B side " being the ballad , " Smoke gets In Your Eyes " .
