Roleplay #: Eight [8] - Record: 04 - 01 - 01 - Next Match: [vs] The New Age Outlaws.
SNME: Tag-Team Match.

Mike Sanders' picked up his fourth victory in the APW on Thursday Night's Breakdown, this time Stone Cold Steve Austin was his unlucky opponent. That stretches Mike Sanders undefeated run to four matches, remaining unbeaten in his last three singles outings and of course picking up the big tag-team win at Steel Punishment. Sanders will be back in the ring again alongside Mark Jindrak when the two take on the New Age Outlaws, Billy Gunn and Jesse James, at Saturday Night's Main Event. The Natural Born Thrillers  titles might not be on the line but Mike Sanders still has his undefeated streak to maintain and he sure isn't going to want to slip up against the New Age Outlaws.

The scene opens with another wide, aerial shot of the city of Birmingham, similar to the last time we saw Mike Sanders. The camera again looks over the city's skyline with many large buildings and landmarks noticeable, and for once the sun is shining a little, that might give Mike Sanders a little less to moan about. The camera shot then cuts to the inside of Mike Sanders hotel room, the same one we saw last time, however Mike Sanders himself is nowhere to be seen. Instead the camera shows Mark Jindrak sitting on the edge of Mike's double bed intently  watching the TV in front of him with his tag-team title lying on the bed beside him. Mark seems to be totally consumed by what looks like The Jeremy Kyle Show... or some other daytime talk show, when Mike Sanders steps through the door of the room. Mike has his Tag-Team title belt hanging over his shoulder and isn't looking to pleased to see Jindrak in his room.

'ABOVE AVERAGE' Mike Sanders: " What are you doing in here? Didn't I tell you before about not barging into my room uninvited. "

'NATURAL BORN THRILLER' Mark Jindrak: " I was waiting for you Mike. And anyway have you seen some of this British TV, it awesome. "

'ABOVE AVERAGE' Mike Sanders: " British TV... talk about below average. I have more important things to do with my time than watch that crap, and so should you. "

'NATURAL BORN THRILLER' Mark Jindrak: " Oh but Mike, you don't know what you're missing out on. You've got The Jeremy Kyle Show, Richard and Judy and of course, Trisha.. she's like a British Oprah, what's not to love. "

Mike Sanders rolls his eyes and sighs before walking over to the TV and turning it off as Jindrak's face turns to a look of despair. He quickly gets to his feet as Sanders begins to speak to him.

'ABOVE AVERAGE' Mike Sanders: " Look Jindrak, there are a lot more important things to worry about just now than some British talk show. You might have been able to sit around and watch while I took apart Stone Cold Steve Austin but at Saturday Night's Main Event you and me are working together against the New Age Outlaws. It shouldn't be too difficult to walk all over those two but I don't want to risk things... so keep your mind on the match.  And anyway, you can't compare anybody to Oprah, never mind some British woman. "

'NATURAL BORN THRILLER' Mark Jindrak: " Hmm... I think Trisha could convince you other wise. But, I'll be fine Mike, I can put TV to one side when I get in the ring. "

'ABOVE AVERAGE' Mike Sanders: " Well I'd hope so 'cause these Tag-Team titles mean something to me... they set us apart as the best tag-team in the APW and I don't want to see anyone like the New Age Outlaws undermine us. We should be going out on Saturday night and reinforcing our status as champions. I think everybody realised at Steel Punishment that we were a force to be reckoned with but I don't want people to forget that we went through tables, ladders and chairs, or that together we took out six other men to get the belts and to earn the right to be called champions. We can show everyone that Steel Punishment wasn't a one off performance... we've got that ability and we can display it time and time again. In fact, we'll be more than happy to put our talent on display at Saturday Night's Main Event and we'll see if the two old-timers Billy Gunn and the Jesse James can keep up. They might well realise that the world of Tag-Team wrestling has past them by and it's time fro them to step down.  "

'NATURAL BORN THRILLER' Mark Jindrak: " Hmmm... well they are a bit past it these days... I mean who buy's into that Badass and Road Dogg image anymore? "

'ABOVE AVERAGE' Mike Sanders: " I'd be surprised if anybody did... 'cause it's obvious they're stuck in a bit of a time warp. They still act as if they're young guys rebelling against authority...  in reality they're a couple of old guys struggling to keep going in this business, they've been around the block and they're just getting by on an old reputation. They'd like everybody to remember that reputation, to remember their time as D-Generation X and to remember their time as tag-team champions... but they certainly don't look like D-Generation X or like tag-team champions any more. Instead, people see one fat old guy and another who's ass nobody wants to see these days... they'll look even worse in comparison to the champions of today, the Natural Born Thrillers. We'll be standing in the spotlight as they get out of breath climbing into the ring.. it'll be at that point when people have the reputation of the New Age Outlaws wiped away. They'll only see them as two below average, old men who were embarrassed by two of the greatest athletes in the business, an above average tag-team, The Natural Born Thrillers. "

Mike Sanders then readjusts his title belt as Mark Jindrak has now sat back down on the edge of the bed.

'ABOVE AVERAGE' Mike Sanders: " We'll find it perfectly easy to beat the New Age Outlaws but I've seen a couple of other guys trying to stir things up a little... Edge and Christian. You know I thought they'd given up on the whole Tag-Team idea, but if they want to step up to the plate they're more than welcome to do so. You see Edge and Christian can't work together any more... they've gone their separate ways and they couldn't come close to us inside the ring.  I hope they keep an eye on our match at Saturday Night's Main Event... it can act as a demonstration for those two, showing exactly how you're supposed to do the job and exactly what we'll do to them if they work up the nerve to challenge us properly. Edge and Christian might even want to talk to Billy Gunn and Christian after the match, they'll maybe warn them off and tell them that stepping in the ring with the Natural Born Thrillers was a serious mistake. You see the Outlaws were running there mouths off as well, issuing an open challenge and that's going to come back to haunt them at Saturday Night's Main Event... just as it'll come back to haunt Edge and Christian if they think they can talk down to me again. On Saturday Night we're picking up a quick win against the New Age Outlaws and sending Edge and Christian a message, if they want to get in our faces they'll suffer the same fate as the Outlaws, they'll be...

'ABOVE AVERAGE' Mike Sanders: " And you know what that means... Haha. "
