Roleplay Title: " Picking up where I left off "

The scene opens up with a shot of an SGW locker room, just your typical locker-room really, very plain and rather dull. However, making there way through the door and into that very locker room are Mike Sanders and Mark Jindrak, two of SGW's latest signings. Jindrak walks behind Sanders carrying a number of large bags and he quickly makes his way over to a bench at the back wall of the locker room, casually dumping them on the floor. This causes Mike Sanders to stop and stand still just as he was cockily strutting his way into the room.

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' What did I tell you about being careful with the bags, Jindrak. '

'AVERAGE' MARK JINDRAK: ' I know, I know. '

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' Well from here it doesn't look you know, I mean I told you what was in the bags, remember? I'm just hoping I don't have to remind you what they mean to me, how important and precious they are to me and how you should treat them. '

'AVERAGE' MARK JINDRAK: ' Look, I just don't know what we're doing still carrying them around, they don't actually mean that much anymore... they're basically antiques now, you know a part of history. '

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' What the hell are you saying Jindrak? Have you forgotten what I went through to get them and to keep them. It wasn't a small achievement either... maybe if you'd done a little more or work or played more of a part in getting them then you'd feel differently. '

'AVERAGE' MARK JINDRAK: ' I did my fair share of the work... I just think it's time to move on and forget about them. '

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' I honestly can't believe what's coming out of your mouth Jindrak, it's damn shocking. Look, at least give me the bags over and maybe once you see them one more time you'll change your mind. '

Mark Jindrak sighs and slowly picks up two of the bags and, as requested, carefully hands them over to Mike Sanders. Sanders who is shaking his head carefully unzips each bag before pulling out two title belts, the APW Tag-Team titles to be exact.  Sanders stares at the belts, practically transfixed as Mark Jindrak simply folds his arms and looks on. Sanders place one of the belts over each shoulder and starts to talk to Jindrak once more.

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' Look at them... the All-Pro Wrestling Tag-Team titles. You've got to be joking if you're telling me they really don't mean anything to you Jindrak. These titles showed that we were the best damn team in the whole of the APW and not any other team out there was able to take the belts off us. It was an above average achievement and it's something that truly sets me, Mike Sanders, apart from every other average superstar in the world of wrestling. '

'AVERAGE' MARK JINDRAK: ' Alright... the titles are real nice but you're really missing something Mike. This isn't APW... this is SGW! '

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' Haha... I hear what you're saying Jindrak, unfortunately APW did close it's doors and that was a real loss for the wrestling world and it was a loss to all the fans who were deprived of seeing yours truly, Mike Sanders, in action every week. Still, you're right we're back and in Solid Gold Wrestling... the biggest wrestling promotion on the planet, the number one player in the field of sports entertainment, with all the big names, but... I ask you what sort of damn promotion doesn't have it's own Tag-Team titles? How exactly can SGW be the number one wrestling promotion around if it's Tag-Team titles are inactive? You know as long as those tag-team titles are inactive the two title belts I've got over my shoulders mean just as much as they did in APW. They might not be recognised by the SGW but that doesn't mean a thing to me, 'cause if they're not going to re-instate the tag-title belts then we can still say that we are the only reigning Tag-Team champions in the SGW. Now I know they have their excuses for suspending the SGW World Tag-Team titles, but honestly I could not care less whether a couple of SGW legends like Edge and Christian did break up and I couldn't care less if the belts were destroyed... every promotion should have tag-team titles and those titles certainly shouldn't be inactive. I will at least say that the SGW were right that there may not have been enough competition for the belts and they needed a stronger tag-team division... hell, I know you don't want to end up with a couple of guys like The Highlanders holding onto the belts. However, the tag-team division just got a hell of a lot stronger with the addition of myself, Above Average Mike Sanders and Mark Jindrak, The Natural Born Thrillers... that really should be reason enough for the SGW World Tag-Team titles to be reinstated. So, I will happily speak to Vince Russo, Jim Cornette, Jeff Jarrett or whoever else has control around this place to make sure that something is done about this tag-team titles situation. '

Mike Sanders cocky strut comes back as he catches a glimpse of himself in the locker room mirror with both tag-team titles over his shoulders. Sanders smirks and as he struts around the locker room Mark Jindrak turns to him and begins to speak.

'AVERAGE' MARK JINDRAK: ' I suppose I can see where you're coming from now but I don't know if people are going to pay much attention to a couple of new guys like us. '

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' Oh, Jindrak... you're forgetting that I'm not just any old new guy around here. Everybody knows about Mike Sanders, everybody will be paying attention to me and that'll start at Fallout when I humiliate Gregory Helms. '

'AVERAGE' MARK JINDRAK: ' Come on Mike, it's a dark match... who really cares about dark matches. '

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' Well I don't see your name on the card, so keep your mouth shut. I've got myself a match and I plan on using it as a nice quick victory to comfortably ease myself into SGW. It'll be my introduction to the company and I can give everybody an example of what they'll see much more of over the coming weeks, months and who knows maybe even years. '

'AVERAGE' MARK JINDRAK: ' And all of you've got to do is beat Gregory Helms, should be easy enough... it's not like he's a former WWE European, Hardcore, Tag-Team and multiple time Cruiserweight champion. '

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' That sarcasm of yours is just hilarious Jindrak... truly hilarious. I mean please don't try to talk up my opponents when I already know how poor they really are. I mean I can remember Helms dancing and singing away in WCW as a member of Three Count, you know that was cute, wasn't it? They thought they were a little boy band... and it's a shame that didn't work out for him 'cause I'm sure he was a lot more talented at singing and dancing than he is in the ring. Still he gave up on those young dreams of his but sadly it didn't change the fact that he was a below average wrestler and whether he won some little title in WCW he never had any power. You see while Helms was working at the bottom of the card on Thunder against some equally below average cruiserweights I was a part of the leading faction and force in WCW... The Natural Born Thrillers. You see I too was a young guy like Helms but I wasn't content to stay at the bottom of the card... instead I forced my way up it and I was leading a group of young guys like myself to the very top of the WCW. That's the clear difference between Helms and myself, he was a nobody going nowhere while I was running the damn show in WCW. '

Mike Sanders has become much more serious now and ignores Jindrak, talking directly to the camera. He smirks as he readjusts his title belts and resumes talking.

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' Now we all know what happened next in the career of Gregory Helms. He was so desperate to get himself a job with the WWE that he turned to being a superhero... The Hurricane. Haha... that was pretty good I've got to admit. Helms seemed to be a natural too when it came to being the light relief on any wrestling show. I guess somehow acting and looking like an idiot seemed to fit with Helms, he had gone from a wannabe boy band star to a wannabe superhero... I honestly don't know what's more pathetic. Although let's face it the sad, old comedy routine of the Hurricane got pretty stale pretty quickly and no matter how hard he tried to hide it, under the cape, the mask and the green hair was the same old below average nobody from WCW. Gregory Helms had realised that there was no way he'd ever make it on his own wrestling ability so instead he thought pretending to be a superhero would save his career... and it looks like maybe it did, for a while. But, Helms could only hide under his mask for so long and now let's see how he does trying to make it on his own, with no stupid gimmick... let's see how Helms makes it as a wrestler. Funnily enough I don't think he will be making it as a wrestler anytime soon and just as quickly as he's turned up here in SGW, he'll be getting tossed back out. I may well have a little to prove to one or two ignorant morons in the back so I hope they at least watch what I do at Fallout and watch how easily I take care of Helms. You see just in case anyone was in any doubt, I did earn the name Above Average... and I too will be watching at Fallout, watching to see if anybody else on the entire card can match up to my above average standards. '

Mike Sanders now holds up one of the APW Tag-Team titles to the camera passing one to Mark Jindrak who places his over his shoulder. Sanders then moves close to the camera and points at the tag-team title belt.

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' These APW Tag-Team title belts should be proof enough of my above average standards but if I get my way the SGW World Tag-Team titles will soon be joining them and then surely there will be no doubt that I am, above average. Although if anybody is planning on getting between me and the SGW World Tag-Team titles then they'll suffer the exact same fate as Gregory Helms will this Sunday at Fallout. You see I'm picking up right where I left off in APW and Gregory Helms you'll be the first in SGW to end up... '

'ABOVE AVERAGE' MIKE SANDERS: ' And you know what that means... Haha. '

Mike Sanders chuckles to himself as the camera picture begins to fade to black as Sanders moves over to talk with Mark Jindrak.
