Reason for Recommendation: I found this book a good read and it made some interesting points. It was a bit lengthy on some points, but overall it was well written.
General Review:
This is not a how-to book, but rather one person’s view of Wicca as it exists in a mainly Judeo-Christian society. She gives her own concept of, as well as her own personal experience with, Wicca and the Divine. This is a comprehensive overview and it promotes an atmosphere of discussion rather than demanding total agreement with the text.
One feature I especially like is the short story, piece of poetry or anecdote that accompanies the beginning of each chapter. I found them personally touching, as well as being relevant to the subject matter of the following chapter.
