Carol DoDo Cheng played the leading role as the legendary figure, Lu Tu Nuong. According to the legend, she helped assasinated Vua Ong Chanh (Emperor Hong Hei). She belonged to a rebel society where their goal was to overthrow the current Ching Dynasty and restore the Ming Dynasty. Vua Ong Chanh was played by Ray Lu Luong Vi (Lui Leung Wai). Simon Nham Dat Hoa (Yam Tak Wah) played Dodo's lover whom she eventually ended up with in the end of the series.
