3 1/4 C White Lilly AP flour (or any good cake flour)
1/2 tsp salt
5 sticks unsalted butter
3 C sugar
6 large eggs (room temp)
1 tbs vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
Heat oven 325 degrees. Coat a 10" tube pan thickly with Baker's Joy. Cream butter until fluffy. Add sugar slowly, then add eggs, and flavorings. Sift flour and salt together and add to mixture slowly. Bake 1 hr and 20 mins to 1 1/2 hrs on the bottom rack.
