"Okay, I think that's everything... steaks, potatoes, salads, veggies, bread, drinks... alright, we're good to go, everyone chow down!" Jana said, examining the table full of food that her friends were sitting around on the deck of her and Howie's condo, overlooking the ocean.

"Babygirl, sit down, relax." Howie said, standing up and pulling Jana's chair out for her.

She sat down and leaned over to kiss him, "I'm relaxed."

"This all looks delicious!" Chellie exclaimed as everyone began grabbing for plates and dishes.

"Yeah, it does... it's a nice change, edible home-cooked food." Nick said, stabbing a steak with his fork and bringing it over to his plate.

Chellie elbowed him, "Watch it, buster."

Kevin laughed at the looks Nick and Chellie were giving each other and Alli giggled, "Nick's gonna get in trouble!"

Nick made his best puppy dog face and passed the rolls that Howie had just handed him over to Chellie as a peace offering.

Chellie snatched the rolls, took one  and handed them onto Alli, "Don't even think that face is going to work on me... you continually insult my lack of culinary ability- but I don't see you whipping up any masterpieces, Chef Boyardee."

Everyone laughed, including Nick, who after a fit of giggles, said, "Okay, but at least I can make spaghettio's... you seem to have trouble with even those."

"What is this? Rag on Chellie night?" Chellie asked. "And when have I ever messed up spaghettio's?"

Nick laughed again, "You remember the first time I told you I loved you?"

"Yeah.." Chellie said, thinking about it. "Ohhh.. alright... yeah... okay.. you got me on that one."

"Who said 'I love you' first?" Alli asked, the same time as Kevin asked, "What happened?"

"I did.." Nick said. "We were at her apartment and she'd tried making dinner for us- it was like spaghettio's, 'cause I'd said they sounded good, and it was horrible.. I have no idea how she managed to burn that stuff or whatever she did to it, but it was awful. But she tried, and that was what mattered, and I knew she'd do that... try anything for me.. and I had to tell her then. I knew she'd say it back, I could see it.. I knew she felt it."

"I only tried to make it as obvious as possible without saying anything." Chellie added, pouring dressing on her salad.

Jana nodded, "Howie said it first, too. It was right after we had made love for the first time, and I totally knew he meant it. There was no doubt in my mind, we had waited for a long time to actually do it, and then when we finally did, it was magical. I knew that night, as he looked down from above me before he came inside me, that I was completely in love with him and that I could se the love in his eyes. I'd never seen it before, but I could see it that night."

Howie smiled at Jana, "I just knew that night that she was the one for me. I was willing to wait for her to make the decision and when she said to me, "I want to make love with you" that I felt the same way. I didn't want to have sex with her; I wanted to make love with her. It was a beautiful night."

"I said it first." Alli said, while delicately cutting her steak.

"I knew for awhile that I loved her, but I was worried about saying it too soon... she doesn't trust easily." Kevin commented.

"He looked after me that week I was really sick. Anything I need, he was there for me. I knew he'd be there for me in the long run. I think he thought I had brain fever when I told him I loved him."

"Well, it was sort of out of the blue."

"But he said it back. So now I'm stuck with him." Alli sighed.

Chellie set her glass down, laughing. "What about your first kiss as a couple? Remember that? Ours was on our first date.. we went down to 7th Ave. East in Ybor City.. we'd gone out to dinner and we were trying to decide what club to go to.."

Nick cut in, "She stops in THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET to look at the signs for the different places... we were about to get run down by a cab, I pulled her onto the sidewalk and kissed her..."

"Right in front of the Green Iguana." Chellie finished.

"Ours was on our second date. We were walking out of the movie theater and it was cold outside. She was shivering so I wrapped my jacket around her. She looked so small and cute buried in my jacket, I had to kiss her." Kevin said.

"It was sweet. Except for the fact that he had to pick me up just to do it." Alli added.

"You're short, sweetie. You can't reach me."

"Smartass" Alli mumbled and returned to her steak.

"Our first kiss was after he was kissing ass to make up for standing me up for his friends! I forgave him, and then we had our first kiss. He was so shy about it!" Jana said.

Howie laughed lightly, "I knew I had to kiss her. She was so mad, and she looked so cute, that I had to do it. Plus, I got brownie points for it."

"Brownie points... you gain 'em, then you lose 'em.." Nick muttered, reaching to grab a bite off Chellie's plate, having already cleared his own.

"You? Lose brownie points?" Kevin asked, feigning shock.

"Yeah, and you're perfect all the time..." Alli remarked, looking at him. "What's the most annoying thing the other person does? Kevin is so uptight about cleaning..."

Kevin interrupted her, "It's only when you rearrange my stuff. I know she means well.. I just have a certain way of arranging things and it throws me off when it's messed with."

Alli shook her head, "You need help. You know that, right?"

Chellie took a sip of her drink and said, "If I fall in the damn toilet in the middle of the night because he 'forgot' to put the lid down one more time, I'm going to anatomically arrange a new way for him to take a piss."

Nick smirked, "You'd miss it if you hurt it."

"I didn't say I was going to do anything to your tongue."  Chellie shot back.

Nick opened his mouth to say something else, but changed his mind, and said, "She always steals my clothes and I never see them again. I love seeing her wear my stuff, but damn- I'd like them back sometime!"

"Howie is ALWAYS ON THE PHONE!" Jana said. "It never fails; the phone rings at least once every time we're making love. Most of the time he feels that he HAS to answer it, and I have to smack him to remind him where he is!"

"He actually stops to answer the phone?" Chellie asked, laughing.

Jana nodded, "Sometimes I really hate his phone and two-way."

"Jana's nose is always buried in paperwork from the office. The only time that it isn't is why I come home from tour, she makes an effort to not have any distractions. But then I think about it, and how hard she had to work in order to get everything set so that she didn't have to worry about it when I got home, and I feel bad about it. I just wish sometimes that she wasn't SO involved with work." Howie said, slipping his hand to rest on Jana's thigh.

"Work was the reason we got into our worst fight." Jana said. "We screamed at each other and I ended up walking out on him. I couldn't fathom why he didn't understand that my work was my pride and joy, since I had worked so hard to get where I was. I knew I was working a lot, but I felt that he needed to understand that I had to give up some things in order to be a successful business woman. It took a couple of hours, but I came back and we talked about it more rationally. Then we had some AMAZING make-up sex."

Howie smiled at Jana, obviously remembering their make-up. "She just couldn't undestand that I wanted her with me all the time, and that her work took precedence over me sometimes. I hate that. I felt that I should have been the most important thing to her at the time, even though we were only dating. But she made me see the light, made me understand about what she gave up at work to be home the times that she was actually home. I started to really appreciate our time together after I found out the stuff she was giving up in order to be at home with me."

"The worst was this time I came back from a long day of interviews.. it was just the same lame questions, over and over, trying to get me to say something stupid. I just exploded when I got home. I was slamming stuff around, yelling God knows what. Alli walked in then and I turned on her. I don't know what made me scream at her the way I did, but it was crazy. And she didn't take it silently... insults were flying.. we picked each other apart." Kevin recalled.

"Then I threw a vase at his head."

"She's got good aim! I was so shocked I almost let it hit me. I was ready to yell at her again, but then she just fell apart. She was crying so hard.."

"I didn't know it was possible for me to hurt so much." Alli said quietly, looking down at her plate.

"I didn't either. I'm sorry, baby." Kevin replied, slipping his arm around her shoulders.

"I said I didn't want his mom at the wedding. He said if she couldn't be there, my mom couldn't be either, and I said that was fine with me, I wouldn't miss either one of them... and then he says if I have that much of a problem with his family maybe we just shouldn't get married." Chellie said.

Nick shook his head, "That was really stupid.. I apologized profusely for that one... and I think we're just going to elope."

"After all the planning I've done for this thing- with no help- I'm getting fucking tired of it.. I'm ready to elope." Chellie grumbled, gesturing with her fork.

"Hey, I'm doing my part.. I'm gonna show up." Nick remarked.

Chellie rolled her eyes. "We FINALLY decided on what song of ours to use for the first dance... none of our songs were exactly useable for slow dancing. We settled on Lifehouse's "Everything"... do you guys have a song?"

"U2's "All I Want is You". It's a really sweet song, it suits how mushy we get sometimes." Alli said.

"I'm not that mushy! There's a couple rock songs that are ours." Kevin protested.

"You cry at the drop of a hat. You're mushy." Alli replied, patting his arm.

Jana chuckled at Kevin's scowl and answered, "Either "My Heart Stays with You" or "Hands to Heaven" by Breathe. I'll come home from work the night before he leaves in the morning and one of them will be on the stereo. We'll dance, he'll sing and then we're off to bed for the rest of the night to wish the morning would never come."

“Aww...” Chellie sighed. “So what’s the best sex you’ve had recently?”

“Had to have been when he got home for the break they took for AJ. It was really spontaneous, so I just ended up taking off four days to spend with him. I don’t think we ever left the apartment at all, only that time to go out to the pool, when I got a lovely sunburn in the water from being in there too long. But it was so good just to be together for a long time, no one else around, with no plans or schedules. Nelson just dropped him off, told us to stay put, and went home.” Jana answered.

“I’ll have to agree with her on that one.” Howie said. “ There were no phones, pagers, computers or network television allowed those four days. We only turned on the tv for those late night sex shows on HBO or pay-per-view. We hardly even slept, too; we just kind of napped on and off. It seemed like everything was at a completely different level than normal. Almost like it was heightened by the degree of solitude we had in the apartment. God that was good.”

“Yeah, ours was definitely when I came home from tour. We turned off the phones, unplugged the computer. I think every room in the house got some quality time spent in it those first few days. I’m not really sure what made the difference, we’ve done things like that before. I think we’ve started appreciating each other more with all that’s happened lately.”

Alli nodded, “I agree on that one. There was just an intensity that wasn’t there before. Maybe it was just the tour being so long, but it just brought the intimacy up to a whole new level.”

“Nick totally surprised me with this incredibly romantic night, “ Chellie began, ”I came home from somewhere, the day had been terrible.. and there was a trail of rose petals.. dark purple, my favorite, all over the floor up to our bedroom. He had candles lit and Sarah McLachlan playing.. I knew something was up if he was playing my mush music. He was waiting in the bedroom for me, dressed up all cute, and I immediately forgot how bad the day had sucked.. and just felt so lucky to have such an amazing guy.. and then…”

“That was making love.” Nick said, looking over at Chellie.

She smiled at him, “Yeah… absolutely beautiful. It was like, being in slow motion or something.. an experience rather than an event… like full-body involvement.. heart and mind, not just physical connection.”

Kevin and Howie exchanged glances, silently asking each other if they'd actually just heard Nick say what they thought he said.

“Where’s the best place you’ve ever had sex?” Alli asked, turning to see what Kevin would have to say before he or Howie could ask Nick anything.

“I think the first place we had sex was the best. The cabin was a great place to start things off. I had the time to make things perfect… satin sheets, candles. It was so perfect and romantic.” Kevin replied.

“Definitely.” Alli agreed. “There’s nothing quite like it.”

Jana looked thoughtful for a moment, then said, “When we were in Paris last time, he had the most amazing suite in the hotel. The bathroom was immaculate. The tub was huge; you probably could have fit five people in there comfortably. I was in there all by myself, he got back early from his interview or something, and surprised me. But what was the best thing, he blindfolded me before he got in and I had to find him and completely trust him. I don’t think I’ve ever had an orgasm like that before.”

Howie smiled, proud of himself for making such a memory for her. “We made love in the park the first time. It was at night, the sky was clear, it was beautiful. Somehow I had found this little hidden spot behind trees, and I knew we weren’t going to be interrupted. I had to keep her quiet, but that might have heightened it for us. That night was amazing.”

“All factors considered, the sex, the place and everything..” Chellie began, but was interrupted by Nick saying, “The dock at the marina where we keep the boat.”

She looked at him, a little surprised, “Yeah, that’s what I was going to say.”

He grinned at her, “It was at sunset, there were still people getting on and off their boats… I know they saw us…”

“And I didn’t care.” Chellie commented.

“The boards hurt though…”

Chellie laughed, “Yeah, he got a few splinters in uh, inconvenient places.”

“Where’s your favorite place to have sex?” Jana questioned. “I love doing it in the bathroom. There’s just something about him getting ready to take a shower or right after a shower that gets me. Maybe it’s him in that towel around his waist, it’s like a present I get to unwrap.”

Howie giggled at Jana’s analogy and said, “In the limo going somewhere. I love to surprise her, and she just never seems to wear panties under those fancy clothes of hers, so I just have to take advantage of the situation.”

Alli began fake coughing, slipping in “Easy access” between the false coughs, thinking of the teasing they’d let each other have over lack-of-underwear during one of their many girl talks.

Chellie cracked up, but quickly stopped laughing when Jana shot her a look across the table.

“Moving along…” Alli took a quick sip of her drink, and said, “My favorite is the living room. The different furniture has made for some interesting moments.”

Kevin looked confused at what had just happened, but just shook his head. “Yeah, it has, but I say the bathroom. The shower is amazing for having sex in.”

“On the boat.” Nick said, before taking a large bite of the roll he’d just swiped from Chellie’s plate.

Chellie whacked his arm, saying, “In bed on the boat… sex on the boat is fucking amazing.. ‘cause it’s just, like, OURS, that’s our place… and then the way the boat rocks.. is almost orgasmic by itself.. and then great sex.. ohmygod.”

“Yeah! What she said!” Nick looked over at her, “You really like the boat that much?”

“The only reason I’m marrying you is for the boat.” She said, as straight-faced as possible.

“Oh, aight. I thought it was just because of the Durango.” Nick replied, then laughed, slipping his arm around the back of her chair.

“That was a bonus.” Chellie said, rolling her eyes. “Okay, where’s the dumbest place you’ve ever had sex?”

Immediately, Howie and Jana said, in unison, “THE CORVETTE.”

Everyone laughed at the expressions on their faces.

When he stopped laughing, Kevin said, “A restaurant bathroom. The handle on the door caused some embarrassing bruises.”

Alli shook her head, “His mom’s house. I still get creeped out when we visit.”

Chellie nodded in agreement, practically shuddering at the thought, “I’m still traumatized from doing it in his parents bed.”

“It wasn’t that bad.” Nick laughed, then thought for a moment. “Okay, yeah, maybe it was. But I think the movie theater was the dumbest- that just totally did not work.”

“What’s the worst thing the other person has ever said during sex?” Alli asked. “Kevin asked me if the garage door was still open.. what the hell is up with that?! I thought things like that only got said in bed after you were married for fifty years. It’s nice to know that I was lying there naked underneath him and he thinks about something like the garage.”

Over everyone’s laughter Kevin protested, “You’re never gonna forget that are you? I said I was sorry! The words just slipped out before I could stop them. And I think the verbal abuse I received right after was punishment enough.”

“Actually, I think me making you sleep on the couch was the punishment.” Alli remarked.

“Thanks, I was trying not to sound like a total loser.” Kevin mumbled.

“Sorry.” Alli said, reaching over to pat his arm.

“Oh god, I remember one time that Howie screamed out every cuss word imaginable because he thought it was that good. I almost fell over laughing because I don’t think I’ve ever heard him say that many cuss words in one sentence before! Not that I minded at all that he was that happy with our sex, but it was still hilarious!” Jana giggled.

“I remember the time she called me her “bitch” just to try it out. It’s completely not her at all, and we both thought it was so funny to hear her call me that. That was a one-time deal, she’s never said it since.” Howie recalled.

“The worst ever…” Chellie started to say, looking at Nick who was fiddling with his plate, blushing slightly because he knew what she was about to say. “He yells, “who’s your daddy, bitch?” What's that about?!? Was that supposed to turn me on? Call me your bitch, all you want you know I like that.. but ‘who’s your daddy?’ I think not.”

“That’s so much worse than you calling me a ‘studmuffin’?” Nick asked her. “She called me that and I started laughing so hard we actually had to stop having sex. ‘Stud’ is cool, but ‘studmuffin’.. nuh-uh.”

“Stud, my ass.” Kevin chuckled, “What’s something the other person does that they think turns you on, but really doesn’t?”

“I think that he thinks that his money is a turn on for me.” Jana said. “But it really isn’t. I love that he trusts me with it, and that I get to play with it at work, but it doesn’t add value to him in my eyes. I think that he feels that he has to show me how much he has sometimes, and sure it’s nice, but it’s totally not necessary. I’d still be with him if I had to support him or he was in a cardboard box. His money doesn’t make him who he is.”

Howie’s grin spread into a broad smile as Jana spoke, and he turned to whisper “I love you” to her before he answered. “I think that she feels that in order for me to be turned on by her she has to be looking perfect and sexy. I’m turned on by her messed up hair in the morning, her morning breath, and her mismatched pajamas. I enjoy seeing her all perfect, but it’s so nice to know that she’s normal like the rest of us with funny looking pajamas and bad hair.”

“I think Kevin and I are pretty in tune with each other now, it’s hard to go wrong. I did have to stop him from licking my ear. Nibbling is one thing, licking just makes me cringe.” Alli answered, making a face.

“Hey, I learned didn’t I? And I can’t say that those hand tricks from Cosmo did anything for me.” Kevin said.

“Oh, sue me. I was misinformed.”

“Sexually- having my breasts licked/sucked on.. doesn’t do a damn thing for me.. if you’re not gonna bite, move on! But like, otherwise, that whole macho guy thing- feeling like he has to show off to impress me or something… racing some punk-ass in a pimped-out car doesn’t make me love him more… especially since I’m better at it than he is.” Chellie said, slouching down in her chair in imitation of Nick driving.

“That’s because you drive like an NYC cabbie on speed.” Jana muttered.

“Yeah, she’s dangerous behind the wheel.” Nick laughed. “She’s got me pretty much figured out now… but when we first started having sex there were a few things.. but that was because she was just clueless.”

“I was not clueless!” Chellie argued.

“You were a virgin, that made you clueless.” Nick replied.

“Like you so minded teaching me.”

“I didn’t say that I did.. but I don’t know where you got some of your ideas from before I started telling you what I liked.” Nick said.

Chellie stuck her tongue out at him, “Blame Cosmo.”

“Okay, on a better note, what’s something that amazes you about them sexually?” Howie asked. “ Jana doesn’t get tired for a long time. I don’t have to worry about wearing her out in one try, it’s going to take a couple of times before she’s like, “Let’s sleep for a bit”.”

“Kev’s got more energy than I thought he would. Most times I’m ready to sleep before he is.” Alli said.

Chellie nodded, “Yeah, his stamina.. he’s got so much energy… and no matter how long we’ve been going at it, it’s never hard to get him ready for another round.”

“He can do things with his mouth that I’ve never imagined. He can go down on me ANYTIME.” Jana answered.

“She wants sex as often as I do. I didn’t think chics were supposed to be that horny.” Nick smirked.

“She can be very controlling in bed sometimes.” Kevin said. “That was a pleasant surprise. And she whispers things in my ear that have the ability to destroy me. I never thought she’d be like that.”

"You guys have, like, a secret signal you use when you want to get some?" Nick asked, reaching to refill his glass.

"I don't know if you can call it secret or not. Sometimes when we're out, she'll give me tthis look that tells me and anyone else who sees that I'm her property and she's going to have her way with me." Kevin said.

"And Mr. Subtle over here has flat out dragged me out of rooms without even telling people we're leaving." Alli added.

"You're complaining because?" Kevin asked her.

Alli gave him a look, "Did I say I was complaining?"

"If we're at dinner, I'll play with my silverware like crazy. Every once and awhile I'll look at him to see if he's gotten the hint, and most of the time, he's signaling the waiter." Jana giggled.

"I'll play with the edge of her dress, I'll rub it between my fingers. Sometimes I'll make a little design on tablecloth, and she'll know what I'm talking about." Howie said.

Chellie grabbed Nick's glass and took a drink, before answering, "We have certain words/phases that we use, like chances are if I mention cheesecake, I'm not talking about food... and he's just got this look he gives me.. it just says "LUST" I mean, there is no mistaking that look."

"Or she'll come up to me and stuff something in my pocket and it turns out to be here underwear- that's a pretty good hint at what's coming... or I can, like, lightly rub her palm with my fingertip.. that practically makes her weak in the knees, and she knows what I want." Nick said, taking his glass back.

"What about toys?" Kevin asked. "Use any of those?"

"When he's there or when I'm alone?" Chellie laughed.

Nick scowled, and Kevin laughed at him, "Together."

"We've got a whip, cuffs, collars and a leash, feathery things, edible body paint, stuff like that... and she's got a few outfits... I really like the vinyl cheerleader one.. little pompons and all." Nick said.

"We have a couple of silk scarves and ties in the beside drawer, along with a vibrator. Of course there's lube and condoms in there too, but that's just expected. I almost bought a pair of handcuffs the other day, but I decided not to." Jana said.

Howie turned to look at her, "You did? You didn't tell me that! How come you didn't buy them?"

Jana shrugged her shoulders a little, "I didn't know if we wanted to go there, plus I wanted you to go back there with me the next time. When we go, we'll get them. I don't guarantee that you'll be able to use them on me any time soon though."

"We have handcuffs, we both enoy those. And the raspberry gel we found was a pretty good investment, too, although it's hard to clean out of the sheets." Alli giggled.

"I like her vibrator, even thought it doesn't really have anythng to do with me. I guess it's just the fascination with watching her please herself." Kevin said.

"I should have locked the door." Alli mumbled.

"Why? I would have broken it down anyway after hearing the noises you were making." he told her.

"Kevin!" Alli blushed, putting her hand in front of her face.

"How can you like that thing?!?" Nick asked, looking at Kevin incredulously.

"I haven't been using mine so calm down. Damn thing won't work anymore." Chellie pouted. She looked at Nick suspiciously, "You didn't have anything to do with that did you?"

Nick tried to look as innocent as possible. "Me? What?"

Chellie shook her head, "Yeah, and you never get off alone.."

Before Nick had a chance to saying anything more, Alli asked, "If you were going to decorate a secret room dedicated to your sex life, what would you put in it?"

Jana thought for a moment and answered, "Deep purple drapes to block out the sun in the morning. Purple silk sheets, along with purple flannel sheets to snuggle in. One really large king sized bed. A bathtub in the corner, along with a vanity with a huge mirror and a counter."

"That's all we need, and a drawer for our fun stuff." Howie agreed. "Oh, and a TV and VCR so that we can watch some fun videos."

"I think we'll have some whips and chains." Alli laughed. "No, really, there'd probably be alot of blue satin around.. massage oil... maybe a few chains..."

"Refrigerator stocked with raspberry cheesecake." Kevin added.

Alli kissed him on the cheek, "I knew I loved you for a reason."

"Okay, so what about..." Chellie started to say.

"Hey! You didn't answer!" Alli interrupted.

"I am not touching this one." Chellie said.

Nick chuckled, "You don't have to tell them everything."

Alli raised her eyebrow, "What's this? What aren't you telling us? You guys already have a room?"

"There's a reason you'll only see four of the bedrooms in our house." Nick smirked.

"We've got a lot of candles, black fabric draped around... some, like, medieval-looking stuff, fun clothes in the wardrobe and.. other... things..." Chellie replied, hesitantly.

"And we don't want to know what those other things are." Jana said. "New question- what's a position you've never tried but want to?"

"I think there's a few Kama Sutra positions we haven't been able to manage yet, but that hasn't held us up any." Alli said.

"I can't think of anything we haven't done yet. But if something new comes along, I'm sure we'll give it plenty of practice." Kevin chuckled.

"I think we've tried just about everything we've wanted to.. we love it when Cosmo's Kama Sutra comes out- new ideas! There's a few in there though, we've just never been able to figure out. One I'd like to try though, is like, him sitting indian style with me in his lap.. that looks sort of romantic." Chellie said.

"I wish she'd turn around and face away from me when she's on top sometimes." Nick remarked.

"Why? What difference does that make?" Chellie asked.

"So I can see your ass!"

Chellie shook her head, "That's not fair- if I can't see your ass during sex- you can't see mine."

"If you could only use one position from now on- could you agree on which one?" Nick asked.

"Me on top." Kevin and Alli answered in unison.

"Control freak. Why do you always want to be on top?" Alli asked.

"Why do you?" Kevin questioned.

"Well, when I am, you make that sexy noise when I..."

Kevin cut her off, "Nevermind. I agree with you."

Howie laughed at the two of them, and replied, "We both love doing it doggy-style. There's just something about her ass being right there that gets me every time. We don't do it that way every time, but when she's waiting on the bed on all fours, I'm GONE!"

"Me on top, I bet." Nick said. "I know she likes it, and I do, too.. it just feels, like, closer.. 'cause you can look right at them and touch and all."

"I can't believe you just said that." Chellie said.

Nick winked at her, "I'd do it."

"What's your favorite time of day to do it?" Kevin asked.

"I love to do it either early in the morning or after a really hard and long day at work. If it's been a bad day at work, I'll come home to a massage that always has to be reciprocated. He's so good at getting my mind off everything that is bothering me." Jana replied.

Howie smiled, "I like to do it in the morning. Sometimes I'll pull her out of bed to go out here on the patio, where no one can see us, and wake her up out here. There's something about the way she looks at me with sleep in her eyes and that sexy little smile in the morning, that will make me so hard!"

Nick looked around the patio as Howie spoke, nodding in approval. "I think anytime is a good time!"

"Afternoon or evening- when there's not much going on and you have the time and energy to make it good." Chellie said.

"Or when you wake up in the middle of the night, 'cause you're still kind of sleepy and it just feels all..." Nick paused, searching for the right word.

"Dreamy." Chellie suggested.

"Yeah, that's good." he said, nodding.

"I say morning or late afternoon." Alli said.

"There's nothing like making love right after you wake up." Kevin said. "But late afternoon is great, when the sun is just starting to go down... open up the windows and let the warmth of the sun in on your skin..."

"Shhhhh...." Alli shushed him.

"What?"

"Just shhhhh." she said, waving her hand at him.

Chellie giggled at Alli squirming in her seat, and asked, "So it is 'having sex', 'making love', or 'fucking'?"

"I don't think sex has ever just been sex. Making love is something we do very well. And very often. "Fuck" is what she whispers to drive me insane." Kevin answered.

"Who? Me?" Alli asked, looking shocked.

"Don't even try to play innocent." Kevin said, slipping his hand down her thigh to squeeze her knee.

"It totally depends on the mood that we're in at the time. Sometimes he'll come home and just say "Let's have sex." and I'm all over him. When he says, "Let's make love." then I know that either something is really bothering him or he's just in a really sweet mood that night. If we're out somewhere, he likes to be naughty, and he'll whisper in my ear, "I want to fuck you so hard right now" or "I want you to fuck me when we get home or back to the car." That is such a turn-on, I love it when he talks like that to me." Jana said.

"The only thing different about her is when she says "I want to make love to you." She'll say that if I've been out on the road a long time, away from home or something, or she's missing me. If she says that, I'll do anything in the world to get back to her or get her where I am. If she says, "I want to fuck you" then I know that I'm in for a wild night. Those nights are great nights, too." Howie said, getting up to retreive a Corona from the cooler near the table.

"Toss me one, too, man." Nick said. He caught the bottle, then said, "We usually "fuck" but lately.."

"I think we've recently discovered the art of 'making love'." Chellie said.

"And we're damn good at it, too." Nick added, popping the top off his beer.

Chellie smiled, "'Fucking' is more playful and wild.. and sometimes you just HAVE to have that.. but it's so nice just to take your time, be sweet... and feel close to the other person, too."

"What's the sweetest thing you've ever said to each other?" Jana asked. "I"d say it's when he tells me, "I NEED to make love to you." It's not that he just feels like it, or that he feels he has to, but that he needs to. Like it's a life or death situation if he doesn't. His voice is so soft and sweet when he says that."

"When she says, "I love you, Winkie." I don't know why I like that nickname, no one else is allowed to call me that and I would hate it if anyone did, but when she says it, I'm putty in her hands." Howie replied, smiling shyly at Jana. "I like it when she tells me that she misses me, or that she's been thinking about me, or that she has to see me before she goes crazy. I love to know that she feels the same about me that  I feel for her."

"I'd say it's having him describe me as his best friend. Anybody can be a girlfriend, but it's nothing like being as close as friends." Alli said.

"I know it sounds stupid, but the sweetest thing for me was the first time she asked me to sleep over. We'd been dating for a while and I knew how nervous she was about taking things further. Having her ask me that let me know she trusted me." Kevin said, his hand slipping back over Alli's leg to grasp her hand.

"Just telling me that she loves me and needs me is awesome.. but the best thing, I think, is when she says that she loves everything about me and will name off all sorts of little things that she loves that I'd have never thought she'd noticed. I realize how much she pays attention to me and that she really does love me just the way I am." Nick said.

"He told me I was his soulmate." Chellie sighed happily. "He said that he never realized how much he was missing until he knew how much he had in me.. and that he's never let anyone know him the way I do."

"What's something you love about the other person that they just don't get?" Howie asked, twisting another lime wedge into his Corona.  "I love how Jana always burows herself under the covers or into me when we're sleeping. You have to hunt around in the bed to find her usually. I love how her feet rub up and down my leg when she's trying to go to sleep, it feels so good, and I like how she needs that to sleep well."

"I love how he snuffles and snores when he sleeps. It's too damn cute!" Jana giggled.

"I love how she looks when she's nervous. She gets all fidgety and chews at her bottom lip. It's adorable." Kevin said, smiling.

"I look dorky." Alli argued.

"It's cute!"

"Whatever. I love how he looks playing the piano. I know he thinks it's crazy... he's in his element when he plays, he just gets locked into his own little world. It's beautiful." Alli said.

"I love Nick's tummy! He just doesn't understand how I can find pudge so cute. But it just makes him so cuddly- he's my teddy bear. I love laying my head on his tummy when we snuggle in bed." Chellie reached over to poke Nick's stomach, causing him to giggle.

"I love how she thinks she's Courtney Love sometimes- singing or screaming along to the cd, and like headbanging  around the room. She gets so embarrassed when I catch her, but I love watching her get crazy like that." Nick laughed.

Chellie made a face at him, then asked,"If you had to pick the moment they looked sexiest when was it? What normally makes them look sexy?"

Everyone pondered the question for a second, and Jana answered first, "I love it when he's all dressed up in an Armani suit. His classic look is so sexy; I always just want to jump him when he gets dressed up. He looks sexy all the time, especially when his hair is wet and curly. After a shave he looks downright edible."

Howie blushed a little at Jana's respone, and said, "We had to go to a dinner party for one of her clients, and it was a black-tie affair. I got dressed up in the Armani and she was in this little black dress that hit right about mid-thigh. She had garters on underneath, since I had to check for them of course, and I could have fucked her at the dinner table. I was definitely contemplating slipping under the table that night. She just looks sexy in her lounging clothes or just about anything she owns. I love every look she has."

Nick scooted back his chair from the table, saying, "Normally she looks sexy just being casual, like in her pajamas or clothes of mine she's grabbed.. but probably the sexiest ever, was my last birthday party. The outfit she had on was one I'd pointed out to her, I didn't know she bought it.. but I thought it was so fucking hot.. and then seeing her in it and knowing she'd bought it just because I liked it. Her whole attitude that night- she looked hot and she knew it, that was sexy."

"The last party we went to- he was dressed in black leather pants and this sort of see-through-ish shirt.. it was so bad boy... damn, that was sexy!  I love it when he wears basketball shorts... but my all time favorite.. a wifebeater and carpenter jeans." Chellie said, fanning herself with her hand.

"Carpenter jeans are lethal." Alli agreed. "He's always sexy to me, but I think the sexiest had to be when he was repainting one of the guest bedrooms. I didn't think it was possible for him to be any sexier, but he managed it that time. All he had on was carpenter jeans and he had his hair pulled back. I never thought I'd be jealous of paint until he splattered some on his chest."

"Guess that explains why it took me over a week to get the room finished." Kevin smirked.

"I couldn't help myself!"

"That's my job." Kevin laughed. "I think the sexiest for her was when both came home from being apart for a night out. She'd gone dancing with some friends and she'd gotten dressed up. She was doing the skimpy look, blue mini-skirt and a white tank top. She doesn't dress like that very often, so it was very sexy. And now that I've said that, she'll wear it just to torture me."

"Damn right." Alli said, nodding.

"What's your favorite activity as a couple?" Nick asked. "I love anything that we can do that's just the two of us. I like going out with her, but I prefer staying in- hanging out in the pool, taking a walk around the neighborhood holding hands or something like that or going out on the boat.. just having quiet time for us."

"I love just staying at home and hanging out, but probably my favorite thing would be the few times we get to actually go out... go clubbing or something. I especially like going dancing with him.. it doesn't happen very often, but god when it does... we always have the best sex after we go dancing!" Chellie said.

Kevin got up to go to the cooler, grabbing a Zima for Alli and a beer for himself. "Just being able to hang out with each other is cool. I like the mornings when we can sleep late and do whatever for the rest of the day."

"Definitely. Those kind of days are rare, but they're the best. Anytime we get to sleep late is always a good time." Alli said,  taking the bottle from Kevin after he took the top off for her.

"I love it when we just out to have fun. Whether it's to a theme park, go-carting, to the movies, to the mall or just out for a walk, we try to make it alot of fun. He'll give me a piggyback ride or push me on the swings at the park. We love to have fun together." Jana said,  grinning.

"I really love just to relax togther. I love having her in my arms and being able to touch her. I love how her skin feels against mine." Howie replied, then asked, "What's your favorite way to relax together?"

Jana nodded, "I love laying in his arms anywhere. Nothing calms me down better than having his arms wrapped around me. Whether it's in bed, on the couch, in the car or at dinner, there's nothing better."

"Yeah, I love talking and cuddling in bed, watching a storm over the ocean." Chellie said. "But if it's not stormy, I like playing Nintendo in bed, since my guy always dies fast, I get to curl up on Nick and just watch him play."

Nick put his arm around the back of Chellie's chair, and began absentmindedly twisting strands of her hair. "I like relaxing in the jacuzzi, just being in there holding her and talking 'til we're "pruny" as she calls it, or in bed like she said.. just laying there together... it's the best being skin-to-skin- you can't get any closer to the person you love.. and that's relaxing."

"I've gotten to where I hate going out most of the time. There's alot of pressure to act a certain way when we're together in public. It's nice to be able to curl up with each other on the couch and veg out in front of the tv. There's no pressure to do or say anything." Alli said and Kevin nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, going out is rough sometimes- 'cause you know everyone is watching." Chellie commented.

"I love Alli's patience. I'm amazed she hasn't run out of it yet with me. Nothing seems to bother her too much. She keeps me grounded when I'm worrying about things." Kevin said, and asked, "What's your favorite quality about their personality?"

"His caring nature. No one cares more about the people he loves than Howie. No matter what happens, I know he'll always be here for me. Even if we weren't together." Jana answered.

"You're right, I would." Howie told her. "I love the way she opens up for me like she can't for anyone else. Once I finally broke through that barrier, it was like a whole other person came out. It took a long time, but it was definitely worth it."

"Kevin cares so much about everybody and everything. It doesn't always come out like it should.. he gets irritated easily, but that's how you know it's important to him." Alli said.

"Wow, he must really care about you then." Chellie teased Nick.

"Everyone loves me." Nick replied, smiling sweetly at her. "I love that Chel's so supportive. I know she'll totally be behind me on anything- decisions or whatever and even the way I feel about things, I know she'll be okay with it. She's just always there for me."

"I love his complexity. A little feature of that though, that I guess would be my favorite thing, is that he's so hard to figure out.. but once I did - god, he's unbelievable! There's so much more to him than I think most people expect. I know that he needs someone to know him like that and he won't open up like that to many people.. I love that he let me do it, be that close to him." Chellie said.

"Yeah, those secret sides are the best to get to know. " Alli remarked, a sneaky grin spreading across her face. "Tell a secret about the other person." While everyone else thought about their answers, she said, "Kevin's a closet cartoon freak. He hates for people to think he does anything childlike. But I've caught him watching and laughing at the Cartoon  Network."

Kevin gave her a look, "You had to go there. I dont' know that there's really anything Alli keeps secret. She's a lot more sensitive than she lets on, but she works hard to hide it. I'm trying to break her out of that."

"Howie loves phone sex. Enough said."

Howie giggled, "Jana loves to initiate phone sex. And she's used the phone before during phone sex."

Alli turned to Chellie and Nick waiting for their answers. "So?"

"His ears aren't the only thing that's pierced." Chellie mumbled.

Nick blushed, "Your's aren't either!"

"They know I have a navel ring."

"And that's not all!"

Jana held her hand up, signalling them to stop. "You both are going to start leaking from all the extra holes you have in your body."

Chellie and Nick exchanged a sly glance, smirking at each other.

"Okay, a serious question... what's the scariest moment in your relationship been?" Alli asked. "Every time he gets injured is scary for me. None of them have ever been deadly, obviously, but I've lost too many people I've cared about not to get scared. It's hard to see him in the hospital, for any reason."

"I was so scared when her apartment got broken into. I thought I was going to break down when she called me, she was so shaken up. It kills me to think what might have happened if she'd gotten home a few minutes earlier." Kevin said, frowning.

"When he called me from the bus in Rio, when you guys were completely surrounded by fans, and couldn't get out. He was so scared, and I was petrified that those girls didn't know what they were doing and were going to kill you all in that bus. I'd never heard him like that before and I haven't since then, but I was completely scared for his life right then." Jana said, prompting everyone to agree with her.

"When she called me from an airplane and told me it was having engine problems. I couldn't tell her I loved her enough, since I knew that it was going to be the last time I heard from her." Howie began, his expression conveying the unpleasant memory. "And when we hung up because she couldn't talk anymore, I couldn't move. I was so scared for her, and that I was never going to see her again, that I was paralyzed. I could barely dial the phone to call my mother, and when I got it out, she had to take over for me. She got ahold of everyone else to take care of things and got me on a flight to where Jana was landing. And she also called Jana's parents to tell them, since I couldn't even say her name without breaking down."

Everyone was quiet for a moment, lost in their own thoughts. Chellie broke the silence, saying, "Mine was when we got into that wreck, and he got hurt and I didn't. When he was unconscious- I swear my heart stopped, I couldn't breathe... I couldn't stop thinking about what would happen if I lost him.. and that it would have been my fault since I was driving."

"The accident wasn't your fault though." Nick said, quietly, rubbing her arm.

"No, but I was driving, which is why you were on the passengers side and got hit. That's why I refuse to drive with anyone else in my car now. That still freaks me out."

"I think the scariest was after we got engaged. Everything just sort of went to hell there for awhile- we were both so busy and stressed and just kept fighting over stupid shit. We got into one day..and I was supposed to go meet Aaron somewhere... she was crying, and told me that if I left, not to expect her to be there when I got back. I left anyway because I was tired of arguing.. and she wasn't there when I got home. I was so afraid she really wasn't going to come back.. and I didn't know what I'd do then... how I'd live without her." Nick said, somewhat somber, but then smiled. "We promised not to fight like that anymore- and we haven't."

"Not necessarily a fight- but what's something the other person did that was hard to forgive?" Jana asked. "He ditched me on one of our first dates to go to WDW with some friends of his, but he didn't tell me that. He LIED about it. I found out from his mother where he was, considering that he told me that he had forgotten that he was going to help Johnny with something at the office. I almost didn't ever go out with him after that. I was so mad at him."

"Sorry." Howie said, looking sheepish. "I wanted Jana to come out on the road with me for a week or so, and she told me she had to stay at home to finish her work because she was so swamped. The next night, I called her cell phone and she was out to dinner with a "coworker" at some fancy restaurant. She couldn't find time to spend with me, but she didn't have a problem going out with someone else at work. I know that there was a difference in time, my week to his date, but still I was so pissed about that. We didn't talk for a couple of days, and I ended up buying her flowers for the office."

"There's been arguments where we've said some pretty cruel things. One time early in our relationship, we started fighting about not spending enough time with each other and our work schedules. Kev told me he didn't have to put up with that, he didn't need me. That hurt. Few things hurt like being told I'm not needed." Alli said.

"She walked out on me and it took me all of about five seconds to realize how stupid that fight was. I still apologize for saying that. There's not way I could not need her in my life." Kevin recalled, shaking his head.

"I know there's been times when he's mad about me not seeing him when he's touring. I think we've managed to keep the peace pretty well though." Alli remarked.

"During a fight he said something about thinking the only reason I 'loved' him was because I thought he looked good standing next to me and was a good fuck. I was so pissed he'd even say that.. doubting my love/devotion on any level, is like, the ultimate insult to me." Chellie said.

"That little... catfight she got into with.. someone... at that bar.. I don't know if I was really mad or just embarrassed, but either way.. that was hard to forgive." Nick said, peeling the label off the beer bottle in front of him.

"I do not like that bitch, and when I saw her kissing you- that did not go over well with me." Chellie told him.

"We were together for a long time... I know you hate that, but it would be, like, impossible for me to just see her and ignore her. Yeah, she kissed me, but I just hugged her. It didn't mean anything."

"What? What happened?" Alli and Jana asked at practically the same time.

"I called her a whore, bitch-slapped her and told her if I saw her touching him again, I'd beat her down." Chellie said.

"You were a bitch." Nick muttered.

"A slightly intoxicated one at that." Chellie pointed out.

"You'd have done the same thing even if you'd been sober." Nick retorted.

Chellie nodded, "True enough."

"Ohmygod!" Alli gasped, laughing. "I would have PAID to see that! I can't believe you never told me about that!"

"I was surprised it didn't end up in 'People' or on MTV or something." Chellie sighed. "It was stupid, yes, I admit that. But god, it felt good!"

Jana laughed at Chellie, "I bet you did enjoy that."

"Yeah, I did, really. I mean, I'm sorry I pissed him off or embarrassed him, but I'm not sorry I did it." Chellie said, smirking.

"What subject would you say you argue about most or disagree about the most?" Nick asked, ready to change the subject.

"Where we're going for holidays or vacations. Though I usually get my way." Jana answered.

Howie shook his head in disagreement, "Her work. I wish she'd take a load off, but she's always working and that's how she is. I wish she wouldn't push herself so hard about that."

"I don't think we really disagree on anything major." Alli said.

"Yeah, it's usually something simple we work out eventually. Like what things to buy for the house or what to do on the weekend. I want to be more productive and she's..." Kevin stopped, searching for the word he wanted.

"Lazy as hell." Alli said. "You can say it."

"I was going to try to be nice. But yeah, what she said."  Kevin chuckled. He turned to Nick, "What about you guys?"

"Kids." Nick replied.

"Money. I can't comprehend how he can drop so much money in so little time." Chellie said.

"That's because you're cheap!" Nick protested.

"Lucky for you! Or else we'd be broke by now!"

"I guess we should save some money for the kids, huh?" Nick asked, giving her a sideways glance.

"Kid. Singular." Chellie said, without looking back at him.

"Okay, so... who's house next time?" Howie asked, wanting to step in before anything got started.

"Come on over to ours." Alli offered.

"Can't do much at ours unless we want takeout.. since someone can't cook..." Nick snickered.

"But someone else blew up the barbecue grill..." Chellie countered.

"That was YOUR fault."

Chellie shrugged, "It's not my fault you can't concentrate on two things at once."

"When one of them is you doing... THAT.... how the hell am I supposed to remember there's anything on the grill?" Nick asked.

"I am never eating at your house." Jana said, getting up and starting to clear the table.

Howie jumped up, "Let me help you with that, babygirl."

Alli and Kevin watched the two other couples, laughing quietly. Alli leaned over to put her head on Kevin's shoulder, "Nothing like dinner with friends, huh?"
