[Authority to Interpret the Bible - Question to Bro. G. Cessor]
by Misled

In this thread you will notice that a Rabid Iglesia Attacker finally feels the choke on certain issues,
thus, he tries  to redirect the question regarding the Credibility of the Pro-INC poster. Lets take a look!
Note: Misled is one of the most Rabid of all INC detractors, the one responding is Brother Glenn Cessor.

MISLED:

INC claims that only ministers/preachers of INC are authorized to interpret the bible. This claim can be heard from INC debates/worship services. If so, you Bro. Glenn, although you know your bible very well but if you are not a minister, why should I/we give merit to what you are saying. The basic question is and it can be answered with a simple "yes" or "no": Do you agree with this INC teaching? I read and study your posts along with servants/ccog/marlowe so please give me your honest answer. I thank you ahead.

BRO. GLENN CESSOR:

------(Kidding Part Snipped)----

All kidding aside, the answer would have to be "no". Do not give merit to what I say. I like to win a debate as much as the next guy, but my words here should not - must not! - be taken as gospel...I am not a minister. My whole purpose is to show why I believe as I do, and to awaken interest in others. If I can deflate some of the myths and misunderstandings along the way, so much the better. But no, do not take my word. "How can he preach, except he be sent?" I am not sent. The ministers are sent. It is given to them to preach and to guide - and they have my deepest Christian love and respect. Go to a minister, and listen to the lessons - listen deeply, and challenge everything you can. It's your soul at stake. When you have heard the lessons, then decide whether to stay or go, and either way you have gained knowledge, diba?

Thank you in return for the question. In reality, your question made me reexamine my motive for posting - and gave me more confidence that I am indeed not doing the minister's job, but simply sharing my faith.

Thanks again -
Bro. Glenn
