RESURRECTION MORNING

One bright and golden morning

the saints of God shall rise

we shall see the precious Lamb of God

in our home beyond the skies

We will meet the saints of glory

and view our mansion of gold

but the One I really want to see

died on Calvary to save my soul

I want to kiss his nail scarred hands

and worship his nail scarred feet

tell Jesus how much I love Him

as we walk down faithful street

We'll turn right at mercy road

and enter halleluiah square

we'll watch Jesus mount His throne

what time we will have up there

Saints will sing redemptions song

the angels will join on in

we will all shout and praise the one

who conquered death and sin

Around his throne we'll gather

sorrow will be no more

just listen for that trumpet sound

it will soon be resurrection morn
