MY PORTFOLIO

I have been designing and making websites since late 2002. My first website was made with Yahoo Page Builder, using their generic templates. I then, without formal education, taught myself to read, write and manipulate: HTML, DHTML, and Java codes and scripts. Through many trials and many more errors I have become quite good at it.

Up until September 2004 I had been using Microsoft Paint for all my graphics, and since then have discovered the joys of Photoshop 7. All graphics shown below and found on my website were created in Photoshop.

All knowledge I have gained can be found from the MSN, and Yahoo Search Bars, as well as Geocities HTML help pages. There are countless resource sites available, and unlike most I have chosen to only use the free ones. Feel free to take a look at my Links page for a list of the free sites I have and still do use.

My personal site http://ca.oocities.com/nikedj1909/ This is my personal site. This was my very first website, and has undergone many changes. I first made it in 2002, and since then have completely overhauled it with new layouts and content 4 times. It remains to date my personal site, and will continue to change and grow.

Info Nova Scotia http://ca.oocities.com/infonovascotia/
or
http://infonovascotia.fiz.ca This website is a spawn of the nikedj1909 site. I got the idea when I was living in Saskatoon and missing Nova Scotia. I have always loved it, and knew quite a bit about the province, having worked in both the Hospitality and Tourism Industries in Nova Scotia for a long time. So I took my Nova Scotia page and made into it's own big site full of facts, links, pictures and tons of information on the province.
This site too has undergone many changes and as it is now, has been entered into an Amateur Website Builder competition.
I have given out travel ideas and suggestions to people who have e-mailed me about where to go, and what to see and do. This is now a regular service I will provide to anyone interested.

My Workroom http://ca.oocities.com/tg_phelan2002/ This site is where I do all my design and layout ideas. Currently it is set-up for my last competition to win the Woods Limousine Service web contract. Due to uncertain circumstances I lost the bid (which was free of charge) to a local company who were servicing their computer repair needs. Until I have another opportunity to tryout new ideas of another contract, I have permission to leave as is.

Eddie and Charlotte's Webpages http://ca.oocities.com/eddie_and_charlotte/ I made this site in just a day or so. It was originally made just for fun, but has since been passed around to friends and family, and I will continue to keep it updated. It only seemed right that my cats have their own site too.

~GTO~ Clan Website http://www.gtoclan.net/ This page was made for the ~GTO~ Clan of Iron Storm, but has since been shut down.

~RTD~ Refuse To Die http://refusetodie.us/ This is another website for the Iron Storm game. It is my most recent *new* addition to my portfolio. All graphics and designs, as well as the music were created by me.
This will be the last site I make for someone else that does not have my name on it as designer or webmaster.
