Part 25

"Die finished signing himself out of the hospital and took Shinya's 
hand, holding it firmly as they walked out of the automatic doors. 
Shinya smiled, staying close to the guitarist. Die turned and bent 
down slighlty, kissing Shinya lightly on the lips. "What do you say 
we go tell the others that I'm out?

Shinya nodded and smiled. "Hai."

Kaoru pulled back slightly from the kiss, running a finger over 
Toshiya's lower lip. "Toshiya?"

"Mmm?" Toshiya's eyes were still loosely closed.

"Be mine?"

Toshiya nodded slowly. "Hai," he whispered.

"Kyo..." Hakuei grabbed the liquor bottle from Kyo's hands. "Stop 
drinking so much!"

Kyo glared at the blonde. "Why?"

"Because booze isn't cheap!" He set the bottle aside and sat in 
front of Kyo. "You can't blame yourself for not loving Toshiya. It 
just happens."

Kyo looked away. "But, Kaoru..."

"Kaoru can't always be happy either. You have to realize that not 
everything can go as you'd want it to."

"But.. no one is happy..."

Hakuei lifted Kyo's chin, bringing his face up. "Go talk to Kaoru. 
It's not fair for him to be left in the dark."

Kyo slowly walked into the apartment and sighed, looking up to see 
Kaoru making a couple of drinks. "Kaoru, I need to talk to you."

Kaoru looked up and smiled, motioning for Kyo to come to him. "I 
have something to tell you too."

Kyo got up to Kaoru and sighed. "You go first."

Kaoru smiled and looked into Kyo's eyes. "Toshiya and I are 
together."

Kyo's eyes went wide. "What?"

"Isn't that great?"

//But... oh god... but, he's so happy... I can let him be ignorant, 
right?// Kyo smiled slightly. "That's great Kaoru, I--" There was 
a knock at the door and Kyo turned to get it. As he opened the door, 
DIe and Shinya's smiling faces panged at his heart. //The only two 
with true cause to be happy...// "Hi."

Die and Shinya walked in as Toshiya walked out of the bedroom, 
avoiding Kyo's gaze. Die caught sight of Kaoru and smiled. "Good, 
you're all here. Now we won't have to say this more than once."

"Oh, you have something to say?" Kaoru repeated.

Die nodded and wrapped his arm around Shinya's thin waist, pulling 
the bishounen closer to his body. "Hai."

Toshiya leaned over the counter next to Kaoru, ignoring Kyo who was 
on the other side of the guitarist. "So, what is it?"

"We... we're out."

"Out?" Kyo raised an eyebrow.

Shinya nodded. "We're together now and... and we wanna be..."

"Faithful." Die completed.

Toshiya's lips parted slightly in surprise. "So, you're out of the 
band?"

Die shook his head. "No, no... we're still in the band, but.. no 
more bandcest."

Kaoru nodded. "I was just thinking of that myself, seeing as Toshiya 
and I just got together." Both Toshiya and Kyo's gaze shot to 
Kaoru. "So, I guess that means no more of it." Kyo and Toshiya 
remained silent, too shocked to argue.

Toshiya kissed Kaoru lightly as the guitarist walked out of the room 
before closing and locking the apartment door. He sighed, closing 
his eyes before he heard Kyo's voice ask, "Why?"

Toshiya's eyes snapped open to see Kyo standing in his bedroom's 
doorway. "What?"

Kyo walked to Toshiya, looking into his eyes. "Why are you leading 
Kaoru on?"

Toshiya frowned. "_You_ are the one who told me to."

"But you are letting him believe you love him back!" Toshiya frowned 
again and grabbed Kyo by the shoulders, pressing his lips against the 
vocalist's harshly. Kyo struggled and tried to push Toshiya away, 
but was shoved up against the wall as Toshiya's tongue entered his 
mouth. Kyo took that opportunity and bit Toshiya's tongue, pushing 
the bassist away once Toshiya pulled back. "What the fuck was 
that?" Kyo wiped the back of his hand on his lips. "I thought 
bandcest was over!"

"No! Kaoru is out, Die is out, Shinya is out, but WE aren't!"

Kyo shook his head. "No! I can't do this to Kaoru!" Kyo hung his 
head. "It's not right..."

"You were fine with it before!"

Kyo's eyes shut up. "Toshiya," he said firmly, "polyamourism works 
well... until someone falls in love."

Toshiya opened his mouth to say something, but closed it and looked 
away.

"I"m going to my room." Kyo walked past Toshiya and into his room, 
closing the door softly behind him.

Okay, I can't type anymore.. I"m tired and I'm getting mad at one of 
my best friends....
