I Am Not Afraid To Die

Part 1

Days come and go with the easy of a passing breeze, in the same time passes along slowly unnoticed
and unchanging to the normal human eyes. In the dawn of morning the things of the night sleep and
in the death of day the things of the night wake. Perhaps this where the tail beings, not much of one
but still one to be shared.

Night waking with the soft sounds of animals and humans alike falling into a soft slumber, yet the
night is alive with sounds of the night time animals waking and even things that are not animals nor
human. Mystical beasts born out of mortal humans fear, werewolves, witches, monsters of all kinds.
Even Vampires, maybe that’s where this takes off at. A story about a group of men who had nothing
and a man who had everything. Yet his man wasn’t a normal man, he was immortal. In his long life
with immortality he was lonely, weary of this life he had to lead. Wanting something new and alive to
come into his large mansion, which was dark and empty nothing but a void of life. In the town life was
happening, even if it was a poor life it was there alive and warming, calling to this man. Tonight was
the night, he would find people to share his cold life with, mortals to warm his bones and cheeks.

Meanwhile in the town….

They all sat around at a local bar getting drunker than a sunk, all of them laughing and joking. All but
the short man with blond spiky hair standing up and around wildly, his sharp white eyes watched the
pink hair man hug and kiss on his Koi. Sighing softly Kyo drowned him self into another beer stacking
the empty can on another causing them to come crashing down. Toshiya and Shinya squeaked
hugging their kois as the loud noise from Kyo’s end of the table. Kaoru and Die just shook there heads
hugging either Toshiya or Shinya. Die was the only one to tease Kyo in his drunken state. "Man Kyo,
you’re going to have one hell of a hang over tomorrow. What’s the mater man you just packing them
a way tonight." He smirked and playfully hit Kyo’s shoulder. That received a hiss from the tiny
vocalist. "Lea me alone…" His voice was slurring as he grumbled as he started rubbing his eyes. "Me
contacts.. are bothering me.. ‘m gunna take them out." He moved reaching for his backpack, which
had his case in it. He didn’t want them to know he was really going to cry, they had to be so happy
in front of him, so together. While he was alone too, he didn’t have anyone, he didn’t get to call
anyone his koi or snuggle anyone.

Getting up and wandering or more like staggering to the bathroom he worked on removing his
contacts. His now almost solid chocolate eyes staring back at him. He sighed looking at the sink, "duh
you know why you don’t have a koi.. cause you’re a freak. Repulsive to all man kind." He sighed softly
tugging at his hair, he had gone out with plenty of people but they never lasted. They couldn’t handle
his way of thinking or his way of going about life. "You know that’s not true Kyo, and you know it.
Your very very lovely." Kyo looked up and over his shoulder at Shinya, then frowned pouting. "Says
you.. but you always say that. If I am that lovely then why don’t I have a koi too or why are you
going out with Die and not me?" Shinya started fidgeting. "Um.. well I don’t know why you don’t have
someone Kyo, and you know why I am with Die. Because I love him." He tugged at his shirt looking
away, he had tried but Kyo did have a point on that. He sighed softly looking at Kyo. "I am sorry Kyo,
I was trying to help and well I am not stupid you looked so unhappy back there. I wanted to help you
feel better, and you should cheer up this is a party for our hit single!" Kyo sighed nodding then found
Shinya hugging him. "Cheer up you’ll find your Koi." Letting go he wandered back out to the party.

The night started winding down to five heavy drunk people, Kyo far beyond drunk now just in his chair
whit his head against the table drooling as he slept. Shinya giggled looking over at Toshiya, blinking
Shinya giggled more at the lip lock going on. "oooh Toshiya." He giggled more trying to get Toshiya to
look over, finally annoyed he tossed a empty can at Toshiya causing the boy to scream in pain.
"Owwwww Shinya that hurt" Toshiya pouted cutely which caused Kaoru to attack him again,
squealing delightfully as his koi did so. Shinya now even more annoyed growled. "Toshiya, stop that.
You need to take your room mate home, he’s passed out completely!" Toshiya sighed glancing at Kyo,
then giggled. "Aww but he looks so cute Shinya. Its not often you see the little monster so cute like
that." Everyone giggled at Kyo sleeping, or they thought he was. Kyo growled and flipped them all off.
"Little monster? I am that bad!" His feelings where deeply hurt, here where his friends making fun of
him while they thought he was sleeping. "Well fine!" He stood almost falling over, everyone couldn’t
help it they laughed at his misfortune. That just made matters worse. "You all suck!" Kyo was just
spouting his anger right now. "I quite! I don’t have to take this from anyone.. you can find your self a
new vocalist!" He ran out quickly leaving everyone in sock. No one could believe what had just
happened, that they had angered Kyo enough to make him leave the band. Shinya looked around to
all the shocked faces. "Maybe we should stop picking on him for awhile." Then nodded slowly sighing.
"Lets all give up for the evening ne" Once again they all nodded starting to get up. Shinya sighed
hoping Kyo would be okay.

Kyo wandered around the city, his makeup smeared from his tears. Just like his band mates he was
shocked he said those things but how could he go back on them now. He had just quite the band
because he was tired of them teasing him, and being so happy with each other. He sighed sitting on
the steps of a building looking down at his feet, he had been crying all evening after he ran out. "I
messed it all up now." He sighed rubbing his eyes, he didn’t even noticed the man standing in the
shadows. Well not until the slightly deep but very rich voice sounded out to him almost whispering
against his ear. "What did you mess up?" Kyo looked over his shoulder narrowing his eyes at the
shadows, he couldn’t really see the man but he saw his tall and lanky out line. "My Band, I just quit
the band. I didn’t mean to, I just so mad at them." He sighed softly. "Now how can I go back to them
and tell them I didn’t mean it." The man just shook his head watching the boy, who was clearly along
pull his self pity on to him self. "Well you could go away for a long time. They would forget about you
after while, it always happens like that boy." The man stepped out of the shadows and Kyo looked up
at him. He almost gasped seeing the bleached blond hair, those sharp blue eyes. "I couldn’t do that!
That’s just not right, there my friends." He sighed softly as the man moved down the steps, it would
be dawn soon. He looked at Kyo tilting his head, this boy looked so alone. Giving a smile he held his
hand out to Kyo. Kyo still wrapped up in how good looking this man was blinked when he held his hand
out. "Nani?" He smiled and nodded. "You look alone, you can stay with me tonight. My home is large
and very lonely. Please I ask of you, stay with me just for the day. Then I’ll take you where ever you
want to go tomorrow evening." Kyo blinked more taking the others hand.

It was cold inside his hand, he looked confused as he looked at this man. He could feel those cold
blue eyes piercing through his body, making him shiver in delight of what this man might want. He
shivered again, goose bumps rippling his arms. "Your asking me over and I don’t even know your
name? And you don’t even know mine." The man just smiled pulling Kyo to his feet. "That’s because I
haven’t given it to you yet. My name is Gackt. Now you have my name.. what is yours?" Kyo blinked
gasping Gackt, oh gods he heard about this man. He was in shock that Gackt had him standing up
and well making feel all mushy. "Um.. Kyo." Gackt smiled starting to walk keeping a grip on your hand.
"Well Kyo now you know my name and I know yours. So there shouldn’t be any complaining from now
on. Riiiight?" He looked over his shoulder at the stunned boy, he flicked his tongue out at you sliding it
back into his mouth slowly letting it run over his lips. Kyo whined softly nodding. "huh uh…" Okay so
Kyo wasn’t sure what was going to happen tonight, but what ever happened he hoped it would be
good.
