Chapter Three - Hooray for Friendship!

Laughter can be heard from the boys' room all the way to the kitchen as Inoran prepared snacks for his sons' visitors. Two days had passed after the incident, marking the end of J's punishment to the boys. J had, during suppertime two nights ago, lay down Die and Kyo's punishment term.

One, to repent for their mistake in their rooms for one whole day, during which they cannot go out nor have friends over.

Two, to practise the correct version of the Shield Spell till it becomes second nature.

Three, to learn one more spell to atone for their blunder with the Shield Spell incantation.

He then told them of their punishment the school had lay down for them.

Head Master Izam had suspended the two elf-lings from school for 3 days for the trouble they have caused. In addition to the suspension, they were to undertake a test, set by Head Master Izam himself, upon their return to school.

Inoran sighed as he thought of the trouble his boys had gotten into.

"Truly their father's sons…" Grinned Inoran as he carried the tray of goodies and headed for the noisy room.

There was an assortment of fairylings in Die and Kyo's room. All of them schoolmates from RunRun Mori School.

3 pair of siblings: Kirito and Kohta, Takashi and Tadashi and Toshiya and Miyabi.

Friends Ryutarou, Akira. Hyde, Tetsu and Yukkie. Sakito, Emiru and Levin.

"Thank you Mama Ino!" chorused the boys as Inoran told them to help themselves to the food before closing the door to his sons' room.

There were wheat cookies, honey, honeyed milk, vanilla ice cream, candied flower petals, mint candy, Maple drops, jam, assorted mixed nutty crackers, assorted nuts, shaved ices in all flavours. And their all time favourite. Buttermilk cookies!!!

The gang helped themselves to the sweets merrily. It was after some time before any of them spoken.

"So, what's your punishment?" Asked Hyde as he stuffed another mint candy into his mouth, his ears twitching up and down. An indication that he was very happy. Hyde was always happy when there's sweets involved, especially when the sweets are in his mouth.

The whole lot groaned when they heard about the test.

"Wonder what sort of test Head Master Izam's gonna give you guys…" Takashi and Tadashi frowned as they pondered over the many possibilities.

"Oh oh! We've got something for you guys!" Toshiya and Miyabi chirped together as Emiru held onto his magic stone necklace and chanted a short incantation. Right before everybody's eyes, a book appeared magically over the table of sweets and floated gently into Die's hands.

"Wow~!" Everyone was impressed. Emiru is the top fairyling in school. Toshiya and Miyabi are Emiru's cousins. Their mothers are sisters and both teach in their school. Emiru's father teaches in the same school as well.

"What is it?" Die asked as he opened the book.

"Notes!" Toshiya and Miyabi beamed.

"Cool~!" Cried Kyo as he snatched the book from Die. Notes by Emiru equates to a guaranteed 'PASS'.

"Thanks a lot, guys!" Die grinned.

"We can help you guys too if you need us." Offered Kohta as he took a sip of honeyed milk to help wash down the cracker he had eaten.

"Yeah, Kohta can be your moving target…." Kirito added. Everyone laughed as the Elf brothers engaged themselves in their usual brotherly brawls. Laughter, happy chatting, and the occasional harmless brawls rang through the house as time flew by.

"Hey~! Give it back!!" Kyo growled as he hopped up and down, trying to snatch back his teddy aphid from Akira.

"Nope. You'll have to get it back yourself." Akira said with a smirk on his pixie face as he dangled the teddy aphid over Kyo's head.

"Give. It. Back! It's mine!" Kyo huffed, his attempts fruitless.

"Sheeh, no wonder you're so little…. You must still be a baby if you're still playing with teddy aphids."

"Wrong Akira-kun, he's little regardless whether he's still playing with teddy aphids or not. He's short by nature." Die added maliciously as he patted his younger brother's head. Kirito crocked an eyebrow.

Everyone laughed at Die's statement. Then everyone laughed even louder at the sight of Kyo piggyback riding on Die. Well, more precisely Kyo was hanging onto Die's neck with his forearm in a choking grip.

"Get off me!" Die screamed as he struggled to break free, "Go play with your other little friends!" Die fell back onto his bed, squishing the life out of Kyo.

"Take that! You Dark Elf! No one can save you now!" Die posed dramatically for a second, before giving Kyo one hell of a tickling session. Kirito crocked his eyebrow again.

"Ha ha ha…. Yeah, don't think Lil' Levin-chan and Lil' Hyde-chan can do much to help you Kyo-chan~!" Akira had caught Die's drift and couldn't help but 'fuel the fire'.

"Ha Ha…Hey!? Who are you calling Lil'!?" Levin frowned as he glared at Akira. But he was a bit slow coz Hyde was already on Akira's back.

"Take that! You…you…. You pixie you!" Hyde had his arms wrapped around Akira's neck so tight that Akira's face was beginning to turn red.

Die, who was done with Kyo, left his breathless kid brother and came around to help Akira

"Akira-kun~ I'm SO disappointed with you…. Can't even handle a miniature pixie." Kirito figured he should just leave his eyebrow crocked. Die was on a roll.

By now, everyone was rolling on the floor laughing at the sight of Die trying to pry the fiery Hyde off of the now blue-faced Akira.

"Hey~! That's not fair!!" Levin growled and pounced on Die. Kyo, who got back his breath, joined in the brawl, letting out a devil of a war cry as he lurched himself towards his brother.

Words of praise were showered at the three smaller fairylings when they took down the two bigger ones by piling themselves onto them.

"Yield! Light Elf! Yield to the Dark side!" Kyo let out a diabolical chuckle as he kneaded and mashed Die's face with his pudgy hands.

"Neba~ I'll rada daiiiiiiii~!" Die managed to spit out those few gutsy words, before being reduced into a giggling, breathless mass as Kyo and Levin tickled and poked his sides.

Akira was totally wasted. Hyde proved to be a lethal adversary.

"Get off Hyde! You may be little but you sure weigh a potato!" Akira grumbled as he tried to push Hyde off.

"Oh-ho~ You are SO going to get it now!" Tetsu exclaimed. Saying that Hyde weighed a potato was like picking a fight with a Troll. And he was right, Hyde's face flushed with anger!

"Weigh a potato huh? I'll show you to make fun of me!" Hyde huffed and started to strip off Akira's clothing. Nothing beats the humiliation of being left in the nude by an enemy. And Hyde is going to let Akira know that feeling!

"Strip!" Toshiya and Miyabi lit up like candle flames and joined Hyde in ridding Akira of his pants, socks and undies. Kirito rolled his eyes. So typical of pixie nymphs.

Wolf cries and whistling rang around the room as Toshiya and Hyde tried to rip the last piece of clothing off of Akira.

"Ha ha ha… Hey!? Miyabi!? What do you think you're doing? Strip HIM, not ME!! NO! Levin??!"

Die panicked as Miyabi, Levin and Kyo turned their attention to him. It didn't take long before Die was as naked as the day he was born!

With a sight it was! Kyo and Levin were howling and running about, swinging the newly acquired undies like victory flags.

Hyde had a smug look on his face as he scanned Akira from top to bottom.

"Woo~ Now I know why Ryutaro's heads over heels for you."

Ryutaro blushed like a ripe tomato while Tadashi and Takashi snickered.

"Yo~! Anyone wants to go for a swim in the pond?" Yukkie asked, wiping away teardrops after laughing too hard at Akira and Die's predicament. Seeing them in the buff sparked his spur for a swim.

"Yes~!" Toshiya and Miyabi clapped their hands in excitement, "Now we get to see everyone naked!!!"

The room suddenly grew quiet. Everyone stared at the grinning brothers, flabbergasted. Emiru shook his head, ears drooping down, not believing that he was related to the two. Kirito's face twitched.
