BUTTERFLY-FLOWER MASK TAG

This file contains the butterfly-flower mask, created by me, the kringle font, a doodle art piece that was shared with me, and the beautiful Christmas bow and holly, created by Rainbow Coffi. I have included Rainbow Coffi's tubes in the supplies. The full collection of her wonderful images is housed at PSP Playground. Anyone can join, free of charge. SETTING USED IN THIS TUTORIAL Drop Shadow: (1)Vertical Offset 2, Horizontal Offset 2, Opacity 80, Blur 5, Color White (2)Vertical Offset 2, Horizontal Offset 2, Opacity 80, Blur 5, Color Black CREATING THE BASIC TAG USING THE MASK TEMPLATE Step 1 Open up your tube graphic, butterfly-flower mask, and a new transparent image 600 width by 604 height. At the Material Palette, select a deep, solid color for your basic tag. Flood fill the transparency with that color. Step 2 Go to Layers/New Mask Layer/From Image. At the source window's drop down menu, locate the butterfly-flower mask with source luminance and invert mask data checked. Click ok. Step 3 Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Group. Step 4 Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and use the (1) selection above which uses the color white. Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Step 5 Open up the doodle graphic. You will see it is in black. But, if you follow these steps, you can colorize the doodle to your liking.
Step 6 Make the doodle graphic active and go to Edit/Copy. Make the tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. Go to Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom. Left click the mover tool and move your doodle graphic and your butterfly/flower mask to a position that is similar to mine. Once you have the graphics positioned, go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Step 7 Make your tube graphic active and go to Edit/Copy. Make the tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. If the image is too large, go to Image/Resize, using the percent option, bicubic and resize all layers NOT checked. Left click the mover tool and move the image to where you want it on your tag. Step 8 Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and use the (2) selection above which uses the color black. Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible. Step 9 Open up the Christmas bows and holly and apply to the tag on different layers. If you wish to add a drop shadow, use the (2) selection above. Step 10 Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and apply the Kringle font at size 100. Step 11 Repeat Step 4, applying the drop shadow with the color white. Step 12 Apply your copyright information. Step 13 Go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Step 14 Go to Image/Resize using the percent option at 95% or smaller, bicubic and resize all layers checked. We hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
