Supplies Jasc/Corel's Paint Shop Pro any version Tube of Choice: The tube image I am using is by Saturn Alice. Do visit her wonderful online gallery by clicking here. Zip File with Cherry Frame and cherry psp file. Optional - Any scrap elements, tubes, brushes or preset shapes for decoration.
SETTING USED IN THIS TUTORIAL Magic Wand Mode: Add/Shift, Match Mode: RGB Value, Tolerance 0, Contiguous checked, Feather: 0, Anti-Alias checked and outside selected. Drop Shadow: Vertical Offset 2, Horizontal Offset 2, Opacity 80, Blur 5, Color Black Step 1 Open up your cherry psp frame. You will see there are two layers. One with the frame and one with the cherry decoration on the side of the frame. Open up the layer palette and go to the layer with the frame. At the Material Palette, select a color for your frame. Left click the magic wand using the settings from above. Left click the magic wand on your frame to select it. Flood fill your frame with the color you selected and go to Selections/Select None. Step 2 Still on the frame layer, left click the magic wand and left click it inside the frame. Flood fill inside the frame with either a solid color or gradient and go to Selections/Select None. Step 3 Open up your tube graphic. Make your tube graphic active and go to Edit/Copy. Make your tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. Step 4 If your image is too large, resize your image by going to Image/Resize using the percent option bicubic and resize all layers NOT checked. Left click the mover tool and move the image to where you would like it on the tag. Step 5 Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and use the drop shadow settings as you see above. Step 6 Open up the cherry PSP file and go to Edit/Copy. Make the tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. Resize the cherry file the same way you resized the tube graphic in Step 4. Apply a drop shadow and place the cherry graphic where you would like it on your tag. Step 7 Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and add your text - applying the same drop shadow. Also add your license information, if applicable. Step 8 (Optional) Add any decorative tubes, brushes, etc. to your tag. Step 9 Go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Left click the crop tool and draw a rectangle around the area you wish to keep, eliminating the excess white background palette that you do not need. Double left click inside the rectangle or left click the check mark at the crop ribbon. Step 10 Go to Image/Resize using the percent option at 75% or smaller, bicubic and resize all layers checked.
