 Step 1

Open a new transparent image 600 width by 500 height. Flood fill the transparency with green #22700a.

Step 2

Open the palm tree mask and go to Layers/New Mask Layer from Image.  At the source window, locate the Palm tree mask file and have source luminance and inverted checked. Click ok.

Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Group.

Step 3

Go to Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow and apply a drop shadow using the settings above or your own favorite ones.

Step 4

Go to Layers/New Raster Layer.

Open up the jungle grass file.  At the Material Palette, left click the top color box and when the color selection window opens, click pattern with angle 0 and scale 100.  Click the drop down menu and locate the jungle grass file.

Step 5

Left click the selection tool and set it to rectangle with mode Add/Shift, Feather 0 and Anti-Alias checked.  Going from left to right and down, draw a rectangle inside the entire tag, just a little bit beneath the tag's border - like this.

Step 6

Flood fill this selection with the jungle grass pattern. DO NOT DESELECT.

Step 7

Go to Layers/Arrange/Send to Bottom.  Go to Selections/Select None.

Step 8

Open your layer palette and you should see the following:

Raster 1 Layer at the bottom

Above Raster 1 is the Group-Raster 1 Layer.

Make sure you are on the Raster 1 Layer at the bottom.

Step 9

Open up your animal graphic and go to Edit/Copy. Make your tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer.  Your image should now be placed so that it is under the foliage.  If your image is too large, go to Image/Resize using the percent option, bicubic and resize all layers NOT checked.

Step 10

Repeat Step 3 - applying a drop shadow.

Step 11

If you wish to add a second animal graphic, repeat Steps 9 and 10 and do be sure that all the graphics you add to your tag are by the same artist.

Step 12

Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.

Step 13

Go to Layer/New Raster Layer and apply your text and copyright information.

Go to Layers/Merge/Merge Visible.

Step 14

Crop off any excess palette not being used and go to Image/Resize using the percent option, bicubic and this resize all layers checked. Save this file in psp or psd format.
