A PIRATE'S LIFE FOR ME

SETTING USED IN THIS TUTORIAL Drop Shadow: Vertical Offset 2, Horizontal Offset 2, Opacity 80, Blur 5, Color Black Vertical Offset 2, Horizontal Offset 2, Opacity 80, Blur 5, Color White
Step 1 Open up a new transparent image 650 x 500. Step 2 Make your transparent image active and flood fill it with white. Go to Effects/Plugins/Mura's Meister/Cloud and at the preset drop down menu select thin clouds. Step 3 At the Material Palette select a deep blue for the sea. Left click the selection tool and at the bottom of the tag, going from the far left all the way to the right, draw a thin strip. Step 4 Go to Layers/New Raster Layer and flood fill the selection with the deep blue color you selected in Step 3. Go to Selections/Select None. Left click the crop tool and crop the tag so that the blue strip fits from the width of the tag without any gaps on either side. Step 5 Open up the pirate ship psp file and go to Edit/Copy. Make the tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. If the pirate ship is too large, go to Image/Resize using the percent option, bicubic and resize all layers NOT checked. Left click the mover tool and move the ship over to one side leaving room for your image, the pirate map and later the treasure chest. Step 6 Open up the pirate flag and go to Edit/Copy. Make the tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. Place the flag on top of one of the ship's sails. If the image is too large, resize as you did in Step 5. Step 7 Open up the tube graphic and go to Edit/Copy. Make the tag graphic active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. If you need to resize the tube graphic, do it the same way as you did in Step 5. Step 8 Open up the treasure map and go to Edit/Copy. Make the tag image active and go to Edit/Paste as New Layer. If the treasure map is too large, resize it the same way you did in Step 5. Left click the mover tool and move the treasure map to where you would like it on your tag. Step 9 Go to Layers/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Go to Image/Add Borders and when the border selection window opens, for color select black, symmetric and border width 4. Step 10 Add your text and copyright information and again go to Layer/Merge/Merge All (flatten). Step 11 Go to Image/Resize using the percent option at 70%, bicubic and resize all layers checked. Save this file as a psp or psd file. We will finish the tag, adding the animations in Animation Shop. Click here to continue.
