? =He retired to the Tower of London against his subjects, and here
was born his eldest daughter, Joan of the Tower.
? =He built a tower adjoining Baynard’s Castle, which his son gave
to William de Ross, of Homlake, in Yorkshire, he having done service
in the wars against Scotland and France; for this he paid yearly a
rose.
? =Thomas, Earl of Lancaster, son of Edmund, was beheaded by
Edward II, and the Savoy became the property of his brother Henry.
? =The Statutes of Eltham, containing precedents for the Government
of the Kings house were made here at Eltham.
? =Richmond(Shene), He founded a Convent of Carmelite Friars.
1327AD =Prince John(?) created at 12 yrs Earl of Corwall, but was
commonly called John of Eltham, from the place of his birth. The hall
(Eltham) was locally called "King John’s Barn".
