I am
comparing the animal cell and around the house. First of all
is the cell membrane. The cell membrane works similar to the walls of
the house. They both keep the structure of the house. The cell membrane
has another job and the wall is only for keeping the structure. The
cell membrane controls what goes in and out of the cell.
Next, is the vesicles. The vesicles
stores food or any variety of nutrients the cell needs to live. This is
similar to the refrigerator. The refrigerator stores food and drinks
that the family needs to cook and eat. The family will need the
refrigerator to store everything, so they can eat the food.
After that is the centriole. The
centriole plays a role in cell division. This is similar to cabinets.
Cabinets organizes and divides the clothes or shoes that you have.
Next is the chromosomes. Chromosomes
carry all the information that t he cell needs to grow, thrive and
reproduce. The chromosomes are like computers. Computers has all the
information in the house. The internet has the information to know the
news, the e-mails, and if the family needs information. The computers
also contain the family’s files. The things that the family
writes down in always on the computers.
The next organelle is the Endoplasmic
Reticulum. The ER is the cell’s packaging system. It packages
things and then transports them around the cell. The ER is and analogy
to boxes. When the family needs to move, All their things are stored in
boxes and then onto a truck. The truck transports the stuff to the new
house.
The next is the nucleus. The
nucleus is the brain in the cell. The nucleus is where all the
knowledge of the cell is. The nucleus helps the cell control eating,
movement, and reproduction. The nucleus in the house is the living
room. In the whole house, the decisions of the family is made in the
living room.
The nucleus is surrounded by the nuclear
membrane. The nuclear membrane keeps the structure of the nucleus and
controls what goes in and out of the nucleus. The nuclear membrane is
like the doors and the doors controls what goes in and out of the
living room.
The last one is the nucleolus. The
nucleolus is the organelle that is made out of proteins and this
particular organelle creates the ribosome. The nucleolus is like the
lights in the living room. The lights provide light in the house and
the nucleolus provide ribosomes and protein.
This is the end of my explanation all of my
analogies of the animal cell to a normal house. This teaches that a
living cell can be compared to a lot of different things in this world.
These are some of the pictures of an animal cell and the
analogies of them.
