Long Lost Child

Deep inside there's a long lost girl
Dieing to get out and see the world
She's been scared all her life
And is tired of the fear
That comes out at night in so many tears
She hides it beneath the laughter and smiles
Cause what's coming out is the long lost child
She wants to be happy and free like a bird
But what she feel can't be expressed in any type of word
She doesn't know how to explain what she feels
The pain is real and it hurts from her heart down into her heels
She wants to let it out some how some way
Cause the long lost child is on her way

As days go by again and again
And time flys by so fast
It seems like you never meet the person you love
But before you know it they're in the past
I loved him for all seasons winter, spring,summer,and fall
And he was gone before I even knew him at all
The words i say are true
For one day you as well will know it too
He told me he loved me
He said he'd be faithfull
He gave me his word
but like a candle lit in the night that word was quickly burned
