Silently Sitting
Silently sitting among the seats
Empty about me, yet full
Of memories of the past
And yet these ghostly visions
Haunt my waking dreams
Trying to think and sing
About the song of life
They never cease to leave me
And for that I am glad
For I can view the past at will
Both the happy and the sad
-
Peace
Peace, they say, if it can last
But never will it be
The world in turmoil both present and the past
Could neer solve the problems of hate
Although the idea of no war
Appeals to all the world
Yet the peoples of this earth have a long time to wait for
-
World of Dreams
Now I wake once again
To find the day anew
But still I wait
Until the time when problems
Will be few
And so I walk out the door
And look at my life
And wonder why all I see
Is hatred and all this strife
And then I come to realize
What it really means
All I had ever lived
Was a world of my dreams
-
From Me
So I run
Across the field
In the middle
Of the night
Fleeing all
Behind me
Desparate for my life
But then a voice
Speaks within
And asks me why I flee
But all I
Could really think
Was that I had
To run away
From me
-
A Statement
Let me make a statement
If you care to hear
Must we keep on going
Playing it by ear
For War and Peace prosper
In this time of hate
I hope we make a difference
Before it is too late
-
Untitled
And so this life's a dream,
Or so it surely seems,
Was never what it be
It's sad to say, this is reality
Or is it only I
That remins left to cry
And watch and see
For all eternity
-
Me for Me
All I really want
Is a girl to see me for me
But is what I ask
A possibility
Whose to say for sure
For who can really know
Why life is filled
With sweet sorrow so
And yet I can but say
Only one more thing
Mark this, my friends
The honey is worth the sting
