This broken allegory is inspired by meditation upon the Tarot of Rider-Waite.
The Fool and his White Wolf ~
It was the Fool and his white wolf
that came to the Magician
and the Magician opened his hands
the light poured from them

Then, he came to the Priestess
and they drank from the Moon
as they watched the white dove descend
upon the Empress and her womb

And out sprung forth
the horns of the ram
ready to lead us
to lead us by the hand

He saw the Herder on the hill
as he leaned on the bull
gently waving his staff
shedding light on the Fool

Then, the Fool fell in Love with himself
and out came the snakes from darkness  like the books you read on the shelf.

Steer that Chariot
one horse white, one black
utilize your Strength
never looking back

look into the light
as you hold onto your Staff
because a turn from the Wheel of Fortune
is up ahead on your path.

Now the lady of Justice
holds a sword in her right hand
scales in the left
and balance they might
your just the Hanged Man
and to sacrifice is your strife
Then, the Fool learns that Death is change
and change is the birth from the strife
so the fire and the water are going to
give Temperance to the Fool's life

Now the Devil sits on his half cube of knowledge
holding onto the chains around his neck
loosely resting...
just in case he wants to free himself from all of that

The Fool comes to the cities that we've all built
startled by God, as the sky is suddenly lit
he sees the Tower built by the man
and he sees it struck down by the nature of it's sin
but, he knows that they'll just build it up again

As the crystals flow from the waters
she stands naked under the stars
while the dogs bay at the Moon
between the pillars

Tomorrow, the children of  our new ideas
will be dancing under the Sun
yes, they'll be basking in it

But, when Gabriel blows the horns of Judgement
he better come running for it
because, all he really has in this World
is the One that made it.
