Working With Families in Urban Communities, Part II Spring 2001 I decided to take the second part of this class, even though this part of education is not my forte. I enjoyed the first semester, and I really learned a lot. Now, the problem that came up the night before we were first supposed to meet was a phone call from a new professor, Marilyn Harmon, who told me that Amy Boyle, who taught the class last semester, would not be teaching it this semester. Secondly, as mentioned last semester, I was the only person in the class not in that particular major, and in addition to that, I was the only one signed up for the class that wasn't in a different class on Wednesday nights! So, they switched the time and place of the class from Thursday nights 4:30 - 6:30 to Wednesday nights 7:30 - 9:00. Yuck! Luckily, we don't meet every week. This is a one credit fieldwork class, and at our first meeting, she had no syllabus, so there's not much more I can mention at this point in time. |
